I'm going! I seen a documentary about some of the legal houses in Nevada. Full bars, food, lounge, pool table and there is no rush! If you aren't sure as to what lady you would like to spend time with, you can have a drink and think about it. The places look clean and comfortable. And there are mandatory hiv and std tests for the staff. And not one girl has been found to be working HIV positive.
So a safe, friendly, clean environment and a good time? Not for New Yorkers.
I have a good friend whom I have known for thirty years. He now lives in Virginia City, Nevada. We talk constantly via email and phone. We were roomates in San Francisco during the Seventies and early Eighties. Actually, he was the one who turned me on to hobbying. Let me share a little info about the Nevada scene vis-avis hobbying and brothels. Some of you may have seen the HBO special about Dennis Hof's Bunny Ranch. It was interesting, but my friend has told me a lot of info that most people don't know. Everything you said is true, relating to the lounges and unhurried atmosphere of most Nevada brothels. My friend lives within 5 miles of five or six of the most well known ones and he has frequented them all. Let me share with you what he has told me from first hand knowledge He knows all of the Madams and providers.
First of all, the providers who work at these brothels are not anywhere close to GFE. You may be able to get a BBBJ or DATY, but that would depend largely on how well they know you and how comfortable they are with you. Kissing, either DFK or LFK is almost exclusively out of the question. Not much YMMV. Also, you come, you're done! No second cup offered! If you pay for an hour, and you're done in forty minutes, that's it! You can negotiate once you are in the room, but your conversation is monitored and there are closed circuit cameras.
If you want a quickie, (Say half an hour) you might be able to party for $$, especially if it's during the week, and things are slow. The girls have to pay room and board, so they can barter to a certain extent, but there are minimums they can accept. You can sit in the lounge and talk to the ladies all you want, but unless you're a regular they will expect you to purchase services eventually.

Interesting. If what you say is true, I wouldn't be surprised. But I do know a couple people that went (I forget which house) but they both negotiated dfk and one had greek in his session. It's probably a ymmv deal but they both agreed that it was expensive. I'd say that's because they are the only legal spot in the country. I've been to places in Canada that I thought were just great with a laid back atmosphere. I don't know for sure what it's like in Nevada but I know there are places where a man can have good time, be relaxed, enjoy himself, just not here in NY.
