A provider friend of mine is in need of some help.
Would seriously appreciate it if anyone can recommend the name of a good Psychiatrist in Manahattan. Psychologist will not work due to need for medical advice as well. Alternate is to convience my friend to walk into Mt Sanai but that would be difficult at best and may be a last resort. This unfortunatly is a reasonable serious situation that has gone beyond my ability as a "freindly" listener. Likewsie there is not a lot of additional support available to her.

All large major metropolitan Hospitals have a toll free number where you can pick a specialty and get a list of names for doctors working in that field and their credentials. Just check the yellow pages or call information to the hospital you choose and ask for their physician directory #. Alternatively, NY Magazine just ran their top doctors in NY issue. Lists over 1300 physicians by specialty. You can always choose from that. Good Luck.
