Hi... Im thinking about going to one of these places. Im looking for a good massage and a little extra. Which is better in terms of ladies,class,price and service...or does anyone know of a better massage place? thanks alot...
I have been to WGS many times, thinking there really wasn't another place like it (service at their price point). So, I am not familiar with Ivy Spa. WGS is not "great" -- it is however "functional". I give it a B-.
i have yet to see anyone decent looking.
you get almost nothing/superficial something.
there is no rush, but the experience is generally "distant".
here is part of my review that was turned down because who-knows why,,,,,
the girl i saw was named sara. sara's too overweight for a girl of her youth. she should go to the gym. her massage was very below average. she pokes around with her fingertips and her idea of a medium or hard massage is to put her foot on my arm. totally unsatisfying.
so then i should expect a bang up finish, right? nope. she doesn't like doing it, or is inexperienced at it. however, nothing makes up for inexperience better than enthusiasm. she has none. i kept telling her she was hitting a sensitive area and it was uncomfortable, but she didn't understand, no matter how many times i hand jestured. eventually, i did my own finish.
her table shower sucked also. akira(now ivy) has no exfoliant scrub, so the table shower wasn't cleansing. btw, the young very pretty girl who handles the phone is not very good either,,,and she was smoking, which doesn't help the atmosphere. she, in particular, has an "i couldn't care less" attitude...and she's the prettiest one.

the only good thing about ivy is that they're 24/7. so i can only recommend this place if there's no where else to go.
Bertie, I've had better results at IVY, the girl I had allowed me to take her clothes off, and feel my way. But that was on the 2nd visit, when she got to know me. I believe that WGS and Ivy are owned by the same people. However, my biggest problem at IVY is that the girls are constantly changing. Perphaps business is bad, or the manager there sucks. Every time, you get close to a girl there, she dissappears and you have to start the "get to know you concept again". Also the rooms, and facilities are not as good as WGS.
well...i will say i've only gone there after 3am, so maybe there's a difference in staff and quality. ivy also used to be "akira" at 2nd/45th( i still use the old # from there),,,and maybe they combined with wgs, or maybe they were together to begin with. i have found other places better in service and girls, anyway.
the one down on thompson st in the village,,,48th/5th,,,salonaria of course.
This is a rare AMP where the service is almost always good, and they don't hustle you for tips. Door price covers all services.
