There are risky indy providers out there, and there are completely legit agencies that have many happy clients.

Some guys much prefer independents women. That's find for them.  Some guys prefer the convenience of an Agency, and that's fine for them.

You are best off finding a reviewed provider or agency.  The search feature on this site is very good.  You should be able to find many well reviewed agencies.

I'm a big fan of the agencies. There are quite a few of them with real pics and all basically provide the same service. Check out dollar bills psycho roundup for a sampling. Girls are all pretty hot, very clean and are very easy to book. Try vip Asian.
