I could be wrong, of course, but I would think a provider of your caliber would do very well getting a room in Manhattan. Do you realize that, based on an  extra $30-50 per night in a NYC hotel probably, all you would have needed was just ONE more client during your three day stay to have made up the difference?

Reasonable hotel rates and no problem with parking!  Both pluses for we suburbanites!
