I remember Corp Treasures!

About ten years ago I spent a lot of time in Rio. The city was filled with upscale "termas" -- combinations of strip clubs, spas, and brothels with huge selections of women on the premises. Obviously Brazil's a different culture with different rules. But there must be some places in NY that come close to providing this experience. Anyone know of any?

Not so many American ones.
You'd need a time machine to go back to the 90s for the American girls in brothels.
And they had some good ones back then. Like Jane's Place (run by Megan) and
611/Corp. Treasures (run by Tina/Snow). Kama Sutra had its moments too. They went out in the
mid/late 2000s -- with Snow occasionally working the floor!

One (that I know of) is still around, but that is and always was an extremely very high volume establishment.  Not criticizing the place or their clients, just not my cup of tea.

By high volume, do you mean lots of providers and/or clients? Do they have a site?

Not too far from Bellevue. They gave me a business card that I think said "Executive Ties" (as in custom neckties with their private number). Quite a place. Less brothely (needed an appointment) was Jillian Bradley's (which moved around quite a bit). And I think I knew Jane's Place (~17th near the big Barnes and Noble, but also moved around, up into the low 70s: Thai Kim and Asian Angela).

OP: If you search "brothel" on this board using a Day Range of [555] to [0], you'll get some more hints and hits.

I met Julie a few times at her original places (starting over near the Lincoln Tunnel) and then I met her again after she had sold off the assets to Jerry's / Jewel's / Jewels. After more than 15 years, she remembered and confirmed some of my crazy stories and the girls that I met there.

Kim was cute! Do you remember a blonde named Kelly? She was fantastic. This was around Y2K, so going back a long way. Jane's Place best location, IMO, was when they were in the E. 50s, near the Japanese barbecue joint. Always a classy place, spotless clean with expensive furniture, sheets & towels.
And they changed the bedding after every client. Megan ran a good business. Really miss those days.

And I would love to help you remember/ relive some of the amazing moments you shared in the southern hemisphere .

I was in Rio few months ago (for carnaval) and the places you mentioned still  exist there.

I can't offer the full Rio brothel experience you are looking for, but believe we would have a fantastic time together and I can even give you  an exotic rubdown.

Delightfully Yours,
Sofia

I remember Corp Treasures.  Had great times there all through the 1990's.   I drove in from LI every week or two.  Could actually find street parking during the week!

Do you guys remember the name of the bar a block or two north of Corp Treas? Same side of the street. It had a palm tree or other tropical island feeling on their signage.

That was the 611 location.
I remember the bar, but not the name.
The Corp Treasures location was over near the Stuyvesant apartments. And was a much classier location.
She had a French girl there, I forget her name. Hot as hell.
And of course, Francine, when she was young.
And then there was my regular...Don't know if I want remember her...or forget...

Just checked "The Bar Graveyard" website.
Here you go: South Beach Bar

Never went in there. I always BYOB'd in those days...

There used to be an upscale place near the entrance to the 59th St. bridge bet. 1st and 2nd. Nice girls, great service. They moved down to the E 40's. Great memories--wish they were still around---especially Elizabeth.

I think this is another one of those business models that the Internet killed. Way back when, a lady would need the services that a "madame" provided. Now, she can do it all herself and keep all the profits.

I know of a few places that are like brothels, but not what you guys are describing. There will be a few ladies on premises during the day but it's all business. No clients are hanging out, socializing or drinking. You come, choose your lady and leave when finished. I think the difference is that these are Latinas or Asians and they don't have the language skills to be running their own affairs.

Dangerous Curves?
Was that the name?

"Dangerous Curves" was one of the Flashdancers sister strip clubs (Flashdancers, Private Eyes, NY Dolls on Murray St., and Dangerous Curves, now closed, around 34th x 3rd).  DC was the fully nude club with a "stage" the size of a milk crate and fully nude lap dances in the back room.

Dangerous Curves?
 Was that the name?
But there might have been another establishment using the same name.
