I am posting regarding my close friend, English Erica. Erica was brutally attacked in a NYC hotel room and suffered a brain injury. I want to thank all who sent their well wishes and caring Erica's way. And thanks to all who contributed, whether it be big or small. Every little bit helps. Her rehab can well go for as long a year to 2 years, and even after all that time, she still may not ever be the same. So thank you all. This hobby has some truly lovely and caring people in it, and I am glad to be a part of our community.

If so, we should all extend our thoughts and prayers for her successful recovery, no matter how long it takes.  We're all in this together...

yes, it is pretty bad. She had her head bashed in severely and almost died. She is lucky to be alive. Brain trauma-injury is serious and only time will tell what the aftermath will be.
