It appears to be thankless job and under the circumstances that he controls...
He's done the best that anyone can do without full control/moderation of members/aliases and no control whatsoever of the review process.

Today,he has owned up to his role in the NY Confi contest fiasco ( I have never utilized their service but even I participated in their contests early on until I realized it was a sham) and has admitted he screwed up by allowing multiple threads during the last contest sham.
Fortunately...or unfortunately...
what happens on NY TER is bigger than any moderator with limited authority and let's face it...this is not a "not for profit" situation nor a Democracy so it's obvious that the powers that be at TER have their own agenda and ways to keep afloat beyond VP membership fees in the various ways they "advertise".

That being said,I will say that VonRyan has enjoyed his participation here and has posted here with several fairly tame aliases(not the flatulence type...lol) with virtually no moderation.Ter still remains a big fantasy land for me and when
all is said and done this still all makes for great fiction;
and when you come right down to it the vast majority of us can read right through any BS. Afterall as Sly Slims said,The educated hobbyiest is the providers best client.
