New York

First of all I would like to say I love New York.  It is the no bullshit attitude NewYorkers have combined with true heart that makes NY like no place on earth. The only problem is you guys also love rumors.

I have heard from good sources that Jason purchase my wedding ring (I have a receipt where I paid Kevin jewelers in LA) to he paid me $40,000 a month. (Could have really used that money too)  These rumors have gotten so far that I needed to speak with a very nice lady from the NY Post in order to bring some facts to light before this misinformation was ever printed.

I guess a lot of these rumors started when I allowed Jason to hold his contest.  He asked very nicely if he could.  Because it did not fall outside of our posted guidelines I allowed him to hoping that other agencies would do the same. Little did I know, this would be a rallying point against the board.

I have removed dingus as moderator of NY.  I think he did a great job, but both him and I agree that this was the best decision.  I have placed thirsty back in charge.

I wish Jason the best of luck.  I hate to see anyone in trouble.  I think it is time to move on.

Thank you for your time reading this.

He seems like a very decent guy when he is not wearing his
moderation hat.

thirsty is beyond reproach.

But this fiasco is not over.  The manhattan hobbying community
has been greatly damaged by this Jason character.  And it goes beyond the scope of just TER.

I will have much more to say on the topic - much to the chargrin of many - but it is late and I need to get some sleep.

dude out

...for making your presence known. This has all seemed to spun out of control and I have had certain opinions I've been hesitant to express. Mostly, I feel as if a lot of our freedom on this board has been lost. Not just because the moderation factor or the suspicion/finger pointing, but because for months TER was named in a 1/2 page advertisement in the back of a widely circulated magazine that's read by many high ranking officials. It turned the creative writers who entertain us with their vivid tales of erotica to run-of-the-mill "johns" that actually paid such and such for "it".

Are you following me so far...?

I think the contests were fun and a nice treat to mix it up a bit. We need more variety on the board. But at a point it became obvious it was too much.

NO MORE FINGER POINTING! But it has to be said, NYC's rise and fall and use of TER to legitimize themselves has impacted this board negatively. That other board hasn't been the same since their bout with Tampa LE.

I would like to ask that in the future, the powers-that-be put a leash on those that choose to exploit TER and it's members. Cause as much as we disagree with todays puritanical views on sexuality, we must remain low-key. This isn't ebay.

My 2 Cent-Alexia

Maybe *I* am in the minority, but I felt the NY board was not controlled properly in the last few months and it spun out of control.

These boards are meant for all providers and clients, and in the last few months its been a three ring circus. I think thirsty will bring back order. I dont know dingus, never talked to him via email or pm, but I am hoping with thirsty back the board will be user friendly for EVERYONE, and not just for the "favorite girls" and their shills.

It truly makes it difficult for us lesser known girls to advertise here.

Since i am in NYC visiting i am readng this board, coincededntally i am frm boston where thirsty moderates

i hope this change does not mean THIRSTY won't be moderating in Boston anymore

I love thirsty as a moderator cause he is really fair, has quick response time to inquiries and always has good imput.

Please don't take him away from us in Boston

heart and we on the New york board will work with you to make the TER better than it has been before. As for your dedication to your job here that is beyond reproach. You have help me and my friends many time with a good heart and a sympathetic hand.
My only suggestion would be to REALLY start fresh an forget old vendeta's as was discussed on the other board.
I believe Dave has made his position clear and we will all work to make this playland bigger and better than it ever was.

My only regret is to see Dingus go.  I hope he stays around for his councel will be missed.

Again WELCOME back Thisty we will try not to make your life to difficult.(But the again you know me, I will speak my mind when the occasion arises and I will expect you to reprimand me if I
get out of line.

Staff what do you have to say about 2 girls who were picked up and arrested this week and interigated about Jason and his relationship with certain staff members at TER and other things. Presented in the 8 page inditment
a log book  and audios of Jason.
Now 2 girls have come forward and given statements that a certain Staff member was seen in the Worth Street loft having fun .And most certainly had a relationshipwith Jason. One of the girls is known as Maxine, she was one of the girls who were booked in Dec by LE.
Is the DA and LA making this stuff up???? Is it another rumor.

Look, it is now established fact that TER was compromised in some fashion by New York Confidential. I suspect that from here on out, any hint of favoritism will bring an avalanche of opprobrium from the vigilant NY Board. I feel like the Sheriff (Gene Hackman) in "Unforgiven" when the girls in the brothel want the Sheriff to kill the two customers who cut-up one girl: "Haven't you seen enough blood for tonight?" Now, I'll say it---Let it rest.

Staff is a big boy and can defend himself. By the same token, he owns TER, and I really don't see the point of taking him on on his board.

No matter what you think, or, what I think, at the end of the day, it's his deal and that little factoid isn't given enough respect. In my experience on these boards, he generally has shown good instincts and usually makes the right call. We're not privy to the reasoning, but I can assure you, running a website which promotes escort services is a little trickier than, say, running a Burger King.

Thats too bad about Dingus, he was a good moderator.  Thank you so much for your post as I feel it's important to cut such nonsense out before things ruin a board such as this.

I just want to add a big hello to all the lurkers that visit here!  Its because of them that I have experienced some of my best times in this business.  Thanks for carefully stepping over all the shill type posts and fake reviews of me and other ladies in this business.  Keep avoiding those names/handles!

Welcome back Thirsty and Good luck Dingus!

Cheers!

Now I understand why everyone says NYC is so dull. ;)

Was getting quite tedious checking in and finding the same old silly, self-created agency promos.  We NY'ers have less time than those in other cities and few of us have time to post here often, so suppose it was a noble effort to build up the board, albeit with indiscriminate posts....

I would have held out for $50K myself. Dude, you got to learn to cut yourself a better deal!

Seriously, I'm not in the habit of taking swings of people when they're down, but we all know there's a fine line between genius and madness. I hope Jason will recover from and overcome this.
