(1010 WINS) (WHITE PLAINS, NY) Authorities are accusing a husband and wife from Scarsdale of running three houses of prostitution, fronting as massage parlors, that employed young women from South America and took in $15,000 a day.
Ferdinand Zeolla, 39, and Grace Zeolla, 45, were arrested late Thursday night after undercover investigators visited the three businesses and were offered sex acts for money, said District Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
"We had received complaints from various people in the vicinity of these houses of prostitution," she said on Friday.
The Zeollas were charged with third-degree promoting prostitution, for which the maximum sentence is seven years in prison. They were awaiting arraignment late Friday and did not yet have attorneys of record, Pirro's office said.
Pirro said about $15,000 was seized, representing one day's take. Investigators also found "hundreds if not thousands of names of johns," carefully entered on index cards with code words like "chamomile" and "lavender" to describe their preferred sex acts, the district attorney said. She said the businesses employed about 20 young women, mostly illegal immigrants from South America.
Asked if she had any plans to prosecute the customers or the alleged prostitutes, Pirro would say only that the investigation was continuing.
The establishments were Del Rio Beauty on Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamaroneck, Del Rio Therapy Brazilian on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers and Relaxing Touch Massage Therapy on Central Park Avenue, also in Yonkers. There were phone listings for the Yonkers addresses, but no answer when calls were made.

A friend of mine called me up around 10:30 last night and told
me to turn on the cable 12 news. This raid on Del Rio was the
lead story.
This place didn't feature the best looking girls, fives and
sixes mostly, but it was a great bargain, nicely run, very clean
ans convenient. I used to go for a massage and two handjobs
for $150 (50 to the house, 100 to the girl). Mostly brazilian
girls in late 20s & early 30s. The news show said the girls
were "very young"...Bullshit!!! The DA puts out this propaganda
to get support from the public. The girls were certainly not coerced and seemed very satisfied with the work and the money.
Their hours were very reasonable as well, 10AM to 8PM. All three locations were in busy Business districts, so I know that the in and out traffic of clients wasn't bothering anyone.
What really ticks me off about all this is that there are so many
important things the cops and DA can be doing, and they choose
to bust a harmless place like this. Westchester, especially
Yonkers and White Plains, has had a streak of violent crime
lately, including street gang activity. With all the muggers, rapists, and murderers running around, that f*cking Pirro chooses
to arrest people who provide a decent, convenient service to
hundreds of lonely men like myself. Would she prefer that we all
go out and stalk teenage girls at the mall?

The first time I saw this Jeannine Pirro was on some cable news network in which she was taking a stance against the legalization of marijuana. She is a Brooks Brothers, Anne Taylor "conserva-tight" and her political views make me want to puke.
Lighten up Jeannine - if you were a real politician, you'd know that the human condition is determined by socio-economic factors, not whether one gets memebership to some Rye or Larchmont country club or hob nobs off the Eighteenth green at Wingfoot. Has this woman ever attended a Town hall meeting in Mt Vernon or in Yonkers to see what the residents there are really concerned about?
