Slim pickings downtown - Dish is good but not Italian and Italian place adjacent to Residence Inn is not particularly upscale. Sorry, but it's Hartford.....
Best bet is any of the Maxes restaurant's Maxes Downtown is great but it is not Italian.
... and can reserve with opentable.
