Sorry you took one for the team, but thanks for passing along the
information, and as just a reminder to all, for those of you who
remember the tv series Hill street blues, the sarge always said
to the troops as they were heading out to the street.

Originally Sarge said "Lets do it to them before they do it to us" Which meant lets do our job before they do their crimes. Sadly Tv execs succumbed to the weinies who thought the phrase was too harsh and thought it meant they should harm the criminals before being harmed.
Good for you, that's the spirit... Being a pointman is great when you hit, sucks when you miss. As any sales guy will tell you, can't let the misses get you down, you're just one call closer to your next big winner.
Taking chances means getting burned some time, but is still well worth the effort. She could have just as easily turned out to be a gem in the rough we would have never known about.
The idea is to get lots of hobbyists to take little chances, instead of a few hobbyists taking lots of chances, we kind of spread the load this way.

We need a better way of tracking the trash thats out there in a few days this post will be a couple of pages back and some smuck that missed it will make the same mistake again.
