Minnesota
That doesn't prevent your nonhobby phone from recording where you were
Found this on the Vegas Board....
If your wife or s/o has access to your phone and you've been places you shouldn't be read this!
warm. nice to get away from Minnesota during February.
and I stayed at a VERY nice place.....
Disposable phones, I would hope most guys use disposables attached to a hobby only email without a name.
I don't know the ladies end of the business so I stay out of it, it does seem risky even for a lady to have a personal phone that she uses for the hobby as well. In any case, if it is left unattended, will a password protect the user from such tracking programs or can the phone be on and not ready to use to be tracked?I travel a little bit and I LOVE experiencing different cultures and never regret going, but when it is time, I always seem to be ready to go home.
To you personally...welcome home!
If you take your regular phone with you, in your pocket or in your car, it's still tracking you whether you use it or not.

Thanks for sharing this, Portia!
Posted this on the other thread, will repost here...
Just remember to turn off location services when you're up to no good, and turn them back on when you are where you're supposed to be. A secret glance at your Frequent Locations will actually quell your SO's suspicions. Knowing you are being monitored and manipulating what the monitoring records is pretty powerful stuff, as long as you never admit that you knew all along.
Extremely important point you bring up. If you have a "burner phone" you still MUST do one of the following with your "real" phone:
-Turn off location services before you go somewhere you aren't supposed to be
-Power off the phone completely
-Leave the phone in a known-good location like at work
And another thought in addition to what I already said... Remember that if you have another device, like an iPad or Android tablet in your car, that is also tracking you.
