One of my favorite band, so much raw energy and angst.......  I remember in high school that these guys were so cool that they made "anti-videos"  most of their early videos were them just sitting around.

I thought these guys were great, and I remember thinking that it would cool it would be to get away from New England and move to Minneapolis.  I think I even contemplated transferring from BC to go to the U.  Little did I know 25+ years later I would end up moving to the Cities.

You're probably taking board life too seriously.  The best we can do is bring attention to whatever it is we want to bring attention to.  Getting emotionally invested in the campaign doesn't usually accomplish much beyond making us feel worse.

I'm sure you can find something more to your interest.  Besides, being from Minnesota, Prince is going to be of much more interest here than in other places around the country.

A record label (i.e., Numero Group) that specializes in reissues and deep obscurities published a compact disc set with a hardcover book in late 2013 documenting the Minneapolis Sound from 1974 to 1984.

There was a guy named tom seacrest who recorded under the name t.c.crest. He played with a band called gary and the nightcaps.

One of my all time favorite punk bands! I lived in Minneapolis for a while a few years back and was always so jealous of my friends who grew up seeing The Replacements at punk houses and dive bars. I live vicariously through your memories
