A very reputable source has told me that Lisa's death was by natural causes. This makes sense as she has been gone for almost three weeks and anything out of the ordinary would have been all over the media by now.

I could be wrong, but I'd check your sources once again SRV

Because if you yourself have not seen her death cert.  I would not say the cause of death until you have proof in front of you.  And FYI her obit never said natural causes.  It says she died suddenly.  Let't not fly anything that is not backed up by print please.  Madison

Madison,

Just an FYI, incase anyone is interested, anyone can order an uncertified death certificate for $10 from the county records office.  All you need is a name and date of death.  It can be ordered with or without the cause of death listed.  Of course certified copies can only be ordered by a party of interest (i.e. the executor of the estate, parent, etc)

I will check my sources again. Yes, you are correct the obit did not say "natural causes". If you read my original post, I never said anything about the obituary. Those are my words and if they have confused or offended anyone, I apologize. It was my way of saying that her death was not a homicide.

Again, this was the information given to me by someone whom I consider a reputable source who had information directly from Woodbury police. I will stick with this information unless I hear something different. In this age of violence, my post was meant to calm the fears of those who wanted information. If others have solid information that contradicts my post, I am certainly willing to put that up on the Board.

And as a footnote, I recently had a cousin who passed away suddenly at an early age due to natural causes. The medical coroner was brought in immediately for an autopsy. The autopsy was not requested by the family; it is strictly a matter of standard operating procedure in any death outside of normal circumstances.

I wish I could express my true feelings about this news.  I only met her one time, but she made me feel very special at that encounter.  She was a very special lady and a joy to be with.  She will be missed by all who knew her.
