I am leaving the Hobby.  It has been a great ride but it is time to move on.  I wanted to quit 3 years ago when my ATF moved to the North Metro but another fine lady encouraged me to stay with it and she was close by........Over time she become my ATF and I have seen only her the past 3 years.  She wants to take a break...from me probably....so I am just going to quit.  I wish her nothing but the best with her life.   I am probably too old for this anyway.   I have always tried to treat the ladies I visited with great respect and great appreciation for what they were doing.  I tried to make them feel like the special folks they are.  I hope I have been successful.  I give a lot of speeches in my career.  I always talk about the Dash between the day you are born and the day you die.  Do something with that dash.  Thanks everyone!!!

...I do think, however, that no man is ever too old to seek and enjoy the embrace and company of another woman.

Take care.  :)

You had a great 'dash' if you put in 10,000 hours with the ladies:-)

"... because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting."  -- J. M. Barrie in Peter Pan

I am sure you have many wonderful memories, many smiles and "perfect moments in the garden" as Leonard Nimoy said.

There's a dash also between "hello" and "goodbye". Within that dash are memories... and love.

But too old?  Nah. We're never too old for those perfect moments in the garden.

Life is not a dash. It's like saying "Life is short," it is the longest thing you do!
Good luck to you! Enjoy life!

We're choosing instead of doing what we're told. In this hobby, we defy society, the law, and every square citizen out there. I'm not raising us up or calling us noble, but I feel good about having the nerve to go and get what I want. I spent many years thinking I couldn't, and this is liberating. It's been a long time since I thought I was doing anything wrong.

Jimbo, good luck to you. You did something with it.

I completely understand your mindset.  In our group friends come and go and relationships, just like the outside world, wax and wane.  Forget the negative and try to focus on your positive memories of the hobby experience as you get on with your life.  Your dash isn't done...

Thanks for your kind words Kim!  I have always tried to treat the ladies I see with respect, give them the attention they deserve, show them the respect they deserve, and show them how much I appreciate what they provide.  What they do is a very personal service and I want them to know I appreciate that very much.  Like someone on here said, "To be a provider you must be ready to me naked with someone you just met in 5 minutes!"  I have always brought  the lady a gift.  Some appreciate that treatment...some don't.  Always interesting to me.  Take care!
