Hello all,
Just came to mind that I haven't heard anything from this fine lady lately, Does anyone know if she is retired now or just UTR? Really nice person. Oh, BTY, Happy Easter/Passover to all.

It's up to those who might respond to be appropriately discreet or not respond at all depending on the circumstances.

What's wrong with your question ? She is a very special lady. I too was wondering about her.

Let's just say a well respected provider made it clear that questions about providers possibly going UTR should not be on a public forum. I stood scolded

Boo hoo to her then.  You asked a simple question.   She is still on TER why cant a guy ask a question.

The responsibility lies with those who know what is going on to not reveal what they know.

Providers circumstances can change rapidly. Sometimes they simply leave town without deactivating because of a family emergency or because they get hospitalized.
The real problem with this kind of inquiry is that those of us who might respond have no way of knowing whether the guy looking for her is a former manager, stalker, irate relative, parole officer or whatever.
Now I have NO reason to believe and AM NOT accusing the OP of being any of these.  He had seen and reviewed the provider but it is up to HER through HER ads and HER responses to contacts to reveal herself

The guy is expressing some concern.

Nothing wrong with that, although you correctly point out that it could be a malicious intent subterfuge.  There are any number of ways of communicating her well-being or lack thereof without feeding information to someone with such intent.

e.g. She is fine, she's staying in touch with people as meets her needs.

Providers, well-respected or not, don't run TER.  There was nothing wrong with your question. Only a response with non-public information could have been considered a no-no, IMO.

2late,
Are you sure?
Sure seems like some providers do think/act like it's theirs...like TER exists for them and belongs to them...can't have one without the other though. If the world were full of providers but no clients lol...well there would be an awful lot of unhappy bitchy providers...with not as much money or pleasure or 'things' as they like!

Personally, i think there's way too much negativity and bullying here when providers and mongers forget why we're here.

I don't really care about the politics of what some think is right or wrong. I really enjoyed spending time with Melissa. Beautiful lady...great provider. Therefore, if she is still around I would love to see her again.

You got that right oldtimer!  I like a friendly discussion/argument but in the message board format it's all too easy to be misunderstood. I've learned to bite my keyboard more than I used to but sometimes I can't help myself:)

Well unfortunately for me, I'm not afraid to speak up and what really annoys me is the PC crap. I'm the last one who will ever say things like....hey look 2late, I bit my keyboard...only cuz I have a better offer than the TER forum lol.

It's only a problem if in one of those types of situations someone gives out information they should know better than to give out.  In other words, there's nothing wrong with the question but there might be a problem with the answer.

And if a provider really doesn't want to be brought up on TER at all, they always have the option to delist themselves.

That if someone wanted to find a UTR or retired provider, would they have any real problem doing it.   We are all sloppy, technology rules our lives and controls and monitors us. I am not a conspiracy nut,  I am a realist.
It is monitoring you too,  unless you are surfing this on your typewriter.    Play the game accept the risk.
