Just because one mite need 24 hours notice due to various reasoning... I.e day job, children etc etc does not mean it doesn't take less then a hour to screen you! I just have set times i am available certain days and that's that.... sure some provider's take longer to screen... but with whitelist from recent well REVIEWED ladys and a couple other pieces of information i can screen VERY quickly (the gent. Must msg me via handle or comment to ensure it's actually him). I then drive to my hotel booked in advance. And bada bing! with any hobbyist (alias or secret alias) on a public board is not good business. Your relative should have taught you that. Control your anger and think twice before you start typing-
You think it is standing up for yourself -but you should learn to be less aggressive (IMO) in your response.

about her screening, and pushed her buttons, She in turn, gave you a response.
If you don't like the way in which she replied, then it may be better of you, to chose how you
approach a provider, about any concern that you have with regard to her screening procedures. Without the button pushing.
Personally, I like a woman who is willing to stand up for herself, No matter if she is a civie or a provider.
My take is that Pushovers are angry, conniving and vindictive people, and its obvious that she is no ass kisser, nor pushover for donations.

He could have communicated his initial question far more politely, but then, he could have been nastier, too. This entire board could be a nicer place than it is, but it could also be a lot worse. It's the only community we have in this metro and should be handled with care.
My advice, if you think you have been disrespected, is take three deep breaths, then dash off the reply that makes you feel good, then DON'T POST IT. Walk away from the issue for two hours or more, and when you come back read your reply and ask yourself if it really presents you the way you want to be seen. If you still think it just has to be said, then do what you gotta do. But if you think you could convey the same message with a more measured response, you're never going to hurt yourself that way. There is no profession in which the professional doesn't have to take a bit of guff from his or her client. Doctor, lawyer, accountant, architect - none. It is always the same. The client has the money, you want him to give it to you rather than the professional in the next office who offers the same service. It can be a tightrope to walk between too strident and too wimpy, but in every case, no matter what the provocation, a calm and measured, even polite, response will place you above the provocateur and let you argue from a position of strength. And by the way, treasure the apology he gave you at the end there. You won't get many of those on this board.Wasen't there just a thread about assistants? I'm glad he said what he did. Always good to see gals self immolate so we can scratch them from our 'to do' list. Better than finding out in person how bitter and angry they are.

Yawn, that's just another week on the Chi board. Nicolette seems to be this months bsc gal. She's awesome.
In Hobbyist Talk, MelodyBrooks appears to be a drama queen that should be avoided.
I think giving her a little time to learn is more appropriate than writing her off right away.
Quite a few ladies lightly screen especially if their clientele consists of older, established hobbyists . That doesn't mean they're bad or not screening at all nor does that make them a more likely target for LE.
As far as they're concerned, everyone's a target regardless of screening practices.
