Hey hobbyists, has anyone heard any details about where the postings occured for the sting operation?  I do not condone the pursuit of under age girls, but the news report sounded like many of those caught were not being charged for pursuing under age, but just general solicitation.

… they’ll publish where the ads were? I kinda doubt it.

News reports say 9 of the 14 charged did not solicit juveniles. (For the 5 who did… lock ‘em up, throw away the keys!) Also that text messages were involved in the evidence.

At least one of the local news reports gave details on the accused, including ages. Mostly a younger group, only one over 60.

We've gotten good intel in the past on this sort of question.

Saw the presser on You Tube. Turns out this was all online bait here, they did not have a sting location set up. Many of those charged were looking for fun at the cost of $100 and explicitly telling the decoy what he was going to do to them. This is something to avoid. Any another dead clue, $100 in today's world?

I believe they did come to a location where they were arrested.  So it sounds like a typical sting.  However they were simply arrested, it seems, when they showed up, rather than additional play acting by LE.  None have been charged so far.  They are relying on the text messages and (apparently) showing up being sufficient to charge with.  LE said it takes more time to get charges based just on text messages.

I don't think they could get a charge based solely on text messages since that is insufficient evidence of who was using the phone.  I'm sure someone had to show up a the sting location physically so that there is a link between the texting and whoever shows up.

I am assuming it was STG. It says the sting was done between Sept 14 and 20th. I did look on the website during that time period. There are a few ads that look questionable, but you guys would have to look at the pics to see if they are real or not. I really only know the gals that have been around for awhile.
Be careful, and as always, think with the BIG head!!!

I have recently booked two “higher priced” visiting providers through an agency and was directed to the same Four Points Sheraton Lyndale on both occasions:  Even though the hotel has been renovated in the past decade with new paint and carpet, the walls and doors are paper thin.  You can clearly hear hallway conversations from the bed.  I even had to tell a provider to “quiet down” during a recent session so we wouldn’t attract attention.  Unacceptable.

What is unacceptable? The paper thin walls or the providers being too loud???

People other than escorts and clients have sex in hotels.

Probably an acronym I should know, but what is STG?

Not in the same room all day from 8 in the morning until 9 or 10 at night.  That isn’t a large hotel and hotel staff isn’t dumb seeing men coming and going hourly like clockwork.

An agency that used to send Eastern European ladies here started using this hotel and I recommended to them not to for the reasons I stated.  They didn’t listen and now they aren’t in business.

… that this agency’s escorts got busted at this hotel? Or are there other reasons the agency isn’t in business now?

I don’t know for fact but MN was one their largest markets and they used that hotel primarily up until they were busted.  I started a thread on their forum about this topic and others agreed that the sound traveled unmuffled inside and outside the rooms.  I haven’t experienced anything similar at other Bloomington hotels.

I have nothing against the Sheraton brand or employees working there but feel it is a high risk facility to see a provider based on personal experience and feedback from others.  Just trying my best to protect hobbyists and  providers.

Is it the eastern european agency that has the "owners" get caught with COKE and other things.

Or was it the other one that just kind of "died" out?

I know for a fact that agency used several hotels in this area.

And you strongly implied that their use of this one hotel led to their demise.

Whatever.

It is a seedy website, but it is free to advertise on. I have used it before, but I can confirm that you do have to really do your research on the client's end to confirm the person is real. They are similar to BP and Clist in that they require little info to post an ad, so of course these are the sites that LE is going to use for stings.

They did use multiple hotels over the years.  In the last couple months they were sending providers here, I had a half dozen visits and all were at the Four Points.  If you were active enough with the agency and on their forums, you would know what I am talking about.
