Our hobby is slowly expanding outside the metro, I'm noticing more and more ads in the St.Cloud area, and Rochester and Duluth have a little play... So it was time for a face-lift!
We won't make the TBD mistake of starting a dedicated out-state board that nobody uses, we'll just all mix in right here!

I could never figure out WHY this board was named the Twin Cities board, well I know why it was…but let me explain. Most of the nation does not know why this area is called the TC board. I have had other “friends” get confused, because after I told them to check out TER they looked for my home area… so either the Minneapolis or Minnesota board. They did not know this area is called the Twin cities

As long as we are changing names, did you know that people from western Wisconsin, Northern Iowa, and the Dakotas use this board? I think that we should just change it to the Corn Belt board…flash back to those lovely farm girls!

Can we make a list on other changes would be cool? LOL

It's not exactly known why we've been the "T/C board" for so long... WAY too easy to confuse with the "T/S board" IMHO! another good reason for the change....

I'm going to blame the old name of our board on Misty! We'll see if she owns up or not... She is the rea on we even HAVE this board in the first place! It was her that convinced TER to add us to there system years ago when TBD made a fatal error in handling the MNGC fiasco! So I'll bet it was her that planted the seed for the name we've had for all these years... Just when Misty thought she couldn't be blamed for anything else,,, Here this comes out of left field!

Yea, Dave asked me what to name this board.  Two options, Minneapolis and Twin Cities.  
I've often thought we should have gone for Minneapolis.

Minnesota was never an option from what I remember.

True story, but, I'm saving it for a future thread, I had a rat's nest growing down there and she asked me if she could trim them... to which I replied:"hell no! then they itch!"... She said she knew a way that wouldn't itch, and the rest is history! Nothin' put me in the mood for sex like the smell of burning pubes!  ROTFL!

Lets me feel a little more "in the loop", even tho I'm up here in the North Country.  I'm sure other outstate providers appreciate it also.

We're not going to split the board... but from the national perspective, Minnesota is more recognized than Twincities.... Your just pissed 'cuz now you'll have to change your username to "MinnesotaGuy"!  ROTFL!

Hey I maybe one of the kings of aliases around here... My only complaint about aliases is when they are used for covering a person’s identity when asking serious or important questions... just my 2 cents worth...

Of course next door you have Lacrosse, WI and Eau Claire, WI some of my best providing experience came  from those places.
