Is it just me or these high risk providers because they think this statement accomplishes something?

Either I suspect she is part of a sting and the new/dimwit clients who visit her are supposed to think they are all clear because of her qualifying statement.

OR

She is so new or dull that she actually thinks this protects here in some way.

Is this the warning sign it seems to be

I've seen a lot of providers have this in their ads, including ones who have been around for years and are well-reviewed. But it is not a defense; it's well established LE can lie in the performance of their duties.

It means nothing and I doubt anyone relies on it in lieu of other verification methods. But if concerned about it, stick with well reviewed providers, and those with P411, etc.

Period. End of story.  Others who have posted are 100% correct that this is a dimwitted thing to post.  I always chuckle when I read such things.  Heck, it's almost an invitation for LE- if they were remotely interested.

I can't speak to the 50 list, but I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

I wasn't so much asking about whether or not it protected them/me, more so about whether or not it's an indication that they are possibly trouble or mis-informed (or worse.)

It seem this language appearing on a backpage ad, with a newer girl is TROUBLE

Don't you need 20 reviews to even show up on there? I think it's safe to assume that ladies are legit after all that, yes.

There is no criteria like that to post on the ad board, though.

So is it safe to assume that the ladies in the(lets say) top 50 on the list here at TER are all legit ladies?  AND All Ads on the ad boards are legit as well?  By legit I mean NOT LE?

As I understand it, there was one incident involving P411 in which a cop was posing as a provider on the site, but I haven't heard of any such incidents with TER.

I think this along the same lines as the belief that LE must say "yes" when asked if they are a cop. When I was a kid, we all believed that it was illegal to drive barefoot. It's easy to believe a lot of B.S. when you don't stop to think first.

I avoid these ads. They show a gullibility that I would rather not subject myself to

Or the ones that claim entrapment. To be entrapment it has to be something that is illegal that you wouldn't have done without LE. You are already doing something illegal long before LE showed up so it can't be entrapment

But your odds improve when you stick with established providers who have multiple reviews from established reviewers.
