My company sent me on a recent trip to Europe and I had a chance to do a little hobbying in between meetings and all I can say is WOW!!!! What a difference from our ridiculously antiquated system. No references, no having to give out my work info or sign up for P411 or Y2K or whatever it's called. Hell I set up all my appointments by text/SMS and within a couple of hours I was hooking up with a hot, and I mean Supermodel hot woman or women with great attitudes and almost unlimited menus.
In most W. European countries hobbying is legal, or at least decriminalized. They WILL reign the Wrath of God on you if you are involved in any child prostitution/human trafficking (as they should). But pay 2 play between two consenting adults is perfectly legal. Has anyone else had the chance to hobby abroad? Any stories to share? I have a couple reviews from my recent escapades pending...
I've hobbied in Pattaya Thailand 3 years in a row. I hope I can make in back there this year. For a GFE experience that you won't find in the USA, this is the place! Really good attitude and depending on the place you meet the girl (beer bar or go go) in U.S. money from $30 - $60 to stay with you all night!
Another good place I hope to check out this year is Angeles City in the Philippines.

I agree that hobbying in most European countries is easier than here. I've seen some fine ladies in Budapest, Hungary, and prices are very reasonable. I saw one hot lady for $200 (USD) for four hours, another for $250 for three hours. (Reviews are posted.) There are some great Thai massage places there, too, where you get a HJ every time...and, half the time, the lady wants to come to your hotel after her shift is done.
TER is not very good covering other countries. InternationalSexGuide.info (or dot com?) is one place to check.
That said, I love being in Minnesota, rather than NYC, Vegas, or California. I could not afford to hobby in those places; here, it's great. I've met a lot of great ladies here...and there's no language barrier!

Kent- I would love to try Thailand sometime and may have the chance to go there later this year for work. I was over there a few years ago, but a two weeks before I left I saw some Dateline NBC program about the Bangkok sex trade and Thai and Interpol cracking down hard on American and Euro sex tourists. It freaked me out enough that I ended up not taking the plunge. But maybe it's different now?
From your experience, is there anyway to figure out which bars/services have girls who are "legit" (meaning they are 18+ and not being forced to provide against their will)? I know a lot of guys go there specifically because they can sleep with underage girls, but that's not my cup of tea. But finding a beautiful, willing Thai girl for $60/night sounds pretty sweet. Any advice you could give would be great. Thanks.
The only cracking down would be the guys looking for underage girls. Not my thing either. If you go there you'd find it a completely different experience from that Dateline NBC program. UK television has a habit of putting a negative spin on the scene there as well. If you go to a bar and hit it off with a girl and wish to spend time with her, you pay a "bar fine" which compensates the bar for an employee who is not working, so you are essentially on a "date". Most hotels will check a girls ID.
I've never encountered any places having girls working against their will. That wouldn't be a very pleasant experience IMO. Most of the girls I've met work at a particular place because their sister or friends are there and they are all having fun. There are some places where you go in and just pick a girl like a soapy massage, but I prefer beer bars or go go's where a girl will approach you, you talk a bit and have a drink, then you can assume if there's some chemistry it will be a better experience. You might even fall in love. I do every time I go. LOL
Unlike P4P in other parts of the world, most of these girls choose this life style to help out their families and send money home. Many girls in Thailand P4P come from the North East and are very poor. Some are even have a dream to marry a foreigner. If you're looking for a relationship rather than a "butterfly" experience I would look outside of the P4P scene.
My advice to you is to go check it out. I had the time of my life last year!

Oldguy66- I agree there are some great providers here in MN. And the prices are relatively reasonable compared to NYc or LA. Until I discovered TER, I was running at about a 15-20% success rate on backpage, meaning for every one "good" experience, I had four or five bad ones. TER has definitely help the odds, but I still feel like it's a crap shoot and a lot of game playing out there. Look no farther than this board for confirmation of that.
While in Europe, I never had that feeling. Even if the sex wasn't fantastic (and it usually was), you were still f'in women who are are 9's and 10's. I'm sure there are some bad ones over there, but it just seemed like a whole different ethos. The websites are user-friendly with clear photos (no need for tineye) and explained what services are provided by each girl. So there were no guessing games.
Ladies like Portia, Melissa, Franchesca, Sweet April and a few others would be successful in MN, NYC, London, Rio or Antartica. But let's be honest, there are far more rough than diamonds in our neck of the woods.
That being said, it cost a lot to go over there. But if you actually do the math (think of all the $ wasted on bad experiences) , it doesn't seem as expensive. That being said, not sure many of us could convince the wife/SO to let us go to London or Paris without them...lol!

The hobby is legal in Canada. I've been to Toronto a few times and the have some pretty good asian's. If you plan on visiting Toronto, I would suggest visiting the SP411 website.
And Thunder Bay is a fairly short road trip! I did have an interesting experience in Brazil. The girl didn't speak any English and I gave her 2 $50's instead of the $100 bill she was expecting and she flipped out because she didn't know it was the same. Now I can understand how the guys in columbia might have gotten in trouble.
I've been all over, and due to the sensitive nature of my travel clearances I never hobbied outside of the US with rare exception. I had a GF in Brazil and a few connections in Aussie. I was offered services in many countries, especially Columbia, Hong Kong, Canada and Costa Rica.
All I can say is that we are in the middle of the pack. Many countries are FAR worse; ie getting hacked to bits for kissing a girl. And many countries are far more relaxed. Europe isn't always that easy, but here's one interesting fact; where it's legal it's also not a big deal. If they don't offer the finest looking women you ever saw, they probably can't stay in business. The prices aren't dirt cheap from what I saw, so the ladies make a nice living for the 10 or so years they can stay in the business.
My last visit to Hong Kong yielded some great stories. I knew I was quitting that job, so I let go a bit and hired "take out" services a few times. Holy shit! I can only imagine what incall visits must have been like. The average massage turns into an overnighter! They "love you long time" no doubt
