I'm with old ranger not my favorite take some getting use to. Seems like a lot of extra steps to get to some things.

It seems to take a lot of scrolling to move around in discussion boards. And I don't see any way to adjust that, at least not on an iPad.

I'll give TER credit for listening to feedback, though. I complained early in the beta testing about how hard it was to tell read posts from unread posts. Originally, they were demarcated by only a different shade of blue. Now I see the read posts are orange (?), as they are now--MUCH easier to see.  Maybe others complained also.  They've made a few other tweaks during the beta cycle.

I also prefer the menus/navigation of the old site, but maybe that's because I'm used to it.

Formatting as many mention is hard to read.
Still does not give search review options for multiple categories, eg ethnicities, body types, etc.
I am sticking with the standard view.

Seems okay to me. I'm sure I'll get used to the things I have an issue with.

And since this is going to happen no matter how I feel...

Like anything new, it will take getting used to and it probably won't be until after using it for a while that I decide if I like it better or not.

The beta looks very nice overall, but the forums are harder to read and to navigate. Tree view is especially bad.

I used the beta for a few minutes but quickly started looking for a way out. It just seemed to add a lot of flash but no real substance.

For example, you no longer need to re-enter a provider's entire profile when reviewing a provider who has a profile. Reviews now have scores for Chemistry and Incall.  Tree view in discussions lets you read all posts without opening each one.

There's others, but those are some of the biggest IMO,

... Each post should start with a subject line and then followed by the poster's handle all on the same line;

Each post should be time and date stamped and on the same line as the subject line. Linear thinkers relate to time and date  but not so much to a post showing it was posted "two days ago" or "five days ago" or whatever.

I don't want to see all of the following posts displayed when I read a selected post. I want to select to read any post individually.

There's something really 'off' about the whole design of the discussion boards but I can't really place what it is. I find that it really strains my eyes to read them.

Each original post in a thread is lightly shaded to show that it's a new thread. In spite of that, it's hard to tell when one thread starts, it seems to just blend in with the surrounding posts. The shading of a new thread should display more of a contrast to make it stand out.

I'm often getting an 'internal server error' when switching between pages on a board, e.g. if I'm on page 4 of an Ad Board and want to switch to page 3, I get the 'internal server error' page and I have to reload the ad board and reselect the page I want.

I like the new Provider Profile page where the lady's rate is shown on the left side near the top so no scrolling needed to see the rate.

I like that there's a 'Like' button on each individual review so you can mark a review to show that you've already read it.

Can someone inform us on how to switch back to the previous TER version? No matter what board I pull up now, it defaults to the Beta version even if I back out the 'beta.' from the URL.

I thougt at first that it'd just be a matter of getting used to this format but with the issues I've listed, I don't think so. This Beta version of the discussion boards is not an improvement over the previous version but just the opposite.

... Scroll all the way down to the end of the page. Look in the lower right of your screen. Click on the option to Stop Using BETA Site.

As someone said in a thread above... "You're welcome."  :)

I'm not having problems.  The threads are easier to follow with less clicks in this nested format.  The reviews are fine once I figured out where the information is now located.  I got used to it quickly and like it better.

...would automatically convert to the beta site. But I have to click on Stop using BETA for each board for it to revert back to standard view.

Maybe I just need the play around a little more with it. I use TER all the time and I know how to navigate every feature on the old system easily.

Once I get more opportunity on us Beta Site - then perhaps I will change my mind.
