This is not intended to be political or partisan. The treatment of women is currently a topic for discussion in the media. I read many posts on this board wherein providers are referred to in derogatory terms which gives rise to the question..Do you respect providers?

Better way to word it is, do you treat them with respect?  You should treat everyone with respect, till they give you a reason not to.

Do I respect providers?  Not all of them.  But I don't respect everyone I meet regardless of gender, occupation, etc.

Fairly new to the hobby, so might have limited exposure compared to some of you.

That being said the providers I have see have been women who know themselves, are comfortable with themselves and very caring people.

Which isn't always how they get portrayed on this board at times.  But again, limited experience compared to some of yo

Do you respect women (your mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, daughter, friend, co-worker, etc) the same as female providers?

The answer should be yes but we all know that's not as simple as it seems.

Among people (women and men) that I respect, there are some I have more respect than for others depending on the history of our relationship.  And there are several providers for whom I have a great deal of respect.

I mostly do not feel put off  by people disrespecting me in a civil rights way , like yesterday , I had to watch some bullshit about human trafficking on TV that put me in a bad light , which is obviously a unfair bias to take against me by linking me to vague human trafficking claims that I really have nothing to do  with personally ...  I can stand up in the room and say = " This is bullshit " and people get what  I mean ... OR ..  There was the time a customer casually played " Forrest Gump " on TV during  a session . and .  TBH  I was insulting by the Jenny " troubled woman " stereotype ...  I said " I hate Jenny " and I did not  have to explain why  I felt that way..

However , more recently , I have struggled with clients trying to dish out customer complaints I really don't deserve . and . Like ... I have to act like I accept their opinion by kissing their ass after they said rude  false attacks against me.  I also recently   went through an aggressive client rounding up a bunch of people who just did not hate me as much as he did , but   he tried to manipulate them all into hating me with him , which  I thought was abusive . especially  when I let the cat out of the bag that I am already dealing with recent PTSD from abuse stalking I went through recently.  To me,  that was another form of provider disreespect dressed up like " customer is always right " power play bullshit   : (

I was honestly on a big feminist kick when I was younger , but , after so many sugar daddies , .... I  do feel like I cannot even complain  about men offending me anymore !!!!  I still have feminist friends from my younger days , but  , I don't chime in about anger towards men because men  have take of me so much , and    I have seen  vulnerability  with male clients too .   I care about humanity in a positive way , but I had to leave feminist anger in the dust after my millionth sugar daddy   : )

are in any area.  Most providers are decent people trying to get along.
Been robbed once. She was pathetic, not evil. Her illness later destroyed her.
Karma wins--hobbyists who pretend that they sit on pedestals and providers scrape the floor are Hump-ty Dumpty, waiting to fall.

With all of your sugar daddies, it seems like it's all about being taken care of financially. Is this any different than the '50s except for the money?

Like others have indicated, I generally respect everyone until they give me a reason not to.  That being said, there are some groups of people I respect more than others.  For instance, I respect the Hells Angels, but not the Vice Lords.  I respect self-made millionaires who started their own business from scratch, but do not respect spoiled rich shits who inherited their wealth from mommy and daddy.  As a rule, I respect women, but I know there are gold diggers and female psychopaths who will falsely accuse a man of rape just to advance their own agenda.  As far as providers/escorts/courtesans/hookers, or whatever you want to call them, I generally hold them in high regard.  As a matter of fact, I have found that female sex workers in general tend to be the best of the female population, and my highest levels of respect are reserved for these amazing women.

I don't see how they do what they do day in and day out, often multiple times in a day.  They take all-comers (all who pass screening anyway) and are intimate wth them, body and often soul. The best treat each client with love, even though some of those clients may act like an asshat towards them in some ways.  That takes a special kind of person to be able to do what providers do, and do it consistently well over time.

Of course, there's people who by their actions, eg deception, abuse, and ripoffs, who show they aren't worthy of respect.  But they're by far the exceptions.

... they've done or said something against me that makes me change my mind. Even in that case, I don't use derogatory language to try and besmirch them. I hold Providers in high regard, similarly as I do those in Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, ALL of our brave members of the Armed forces, and RNs. I don't know if I could do their jobs at all and I stand in awe of them.

Respect EVERYONE until the do something to lose your respect.

Providers are no better or worse than everyone else. Not sure why you elevate their status. (Well, in your case, I guess I do.)

Whether doctor or cop, CEO or janitor, we're  all just people trying to survive in this life.   Respect everyone.

Respect is earned, not a given.

Treat everyone civilly and politely, respect those that deserve it.

"Respect:
a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.
"the director had a lot of respect for Douglas as an actor"
synonyms: esteem, regard, high opinion, admiration, reverence, deference, honor"

Use the word correctly.
