I was recently having a very serious and in-depth conversation with a couple of friend of mine. The subject of this conversation….. Why do dancers pick the songs they do to dance to? Now I’ll admit I’m a music snob. I’m really into alternative and indie music. I’ve never been into heavy metal or hair metal and I know people have different tastes, and that we connect with certain songs a certain way with the beat and the lyrics. I just have never understood why some songs tend to be staples in gentlemen’s clubs. If you had to choose a play list for a dancer what song or songs would you choose?
