Have a safe and happy Memorial Weekend everyone.  And please take a moment to remember  the meaning of the holiday. We have differences of opinions here, but we are blessed to live in a country where we can openly express our view our and opinions.

Exactly!
Despite others trying to censor us here.

To all the US military here and especially abroad, be safe and thanks for your service to our country.
Proud to be an American no matter what.

Sunday sounds like it will be nice, so I'll probably have a backyard movie night featuring Captain America. :)

Happy birthday, Francesca!

Also, good point about those who are no longer with us - it's Memorial Day, not Veteran's Day. :)  As I usually tell those who thank us for our service on this weekend, *this* holiday is for those who didn't make it back.

Yes, you are correct.
But many of the military families that are here have other members in the services still. Nothing wrong with saying thanks.
