I'm amazed to keep reading here thinking that guys can can only get a GFE experience with TJ escorts. I've read this several times now. I mostly do bar girls (mostly the smaller bars outside of AB and CC although when I first went to TJ I initially did AB and CC chicas)) and many independent SG's (not the ones who stand in one spot) If you want a piece of cake GFE in AB do Candi who works in AB during the day. She's a very nice chica.

I would say at least 70% of my sessions are GFE. I am also older, average looking and far from being a stud. Some rules for a GFE (girl friend experience)

First of all, a GFE by by definition is DKF, (deep French kissing), BBBJ (bare back blowjob), lot's of sex in different positions. Lot's or oral for both if wanted. Time is also not an issue.

The key to getting a a GF session:

1. Get a room in the zona at the AB hotel or Cascadas. This way there is not a knock. When you have your own room and if you click chicas are not anxious to leave. A jacuzzi suite at Cascadas is almost a guarantee since many chicas have never experienced this.
2.Drink or dance with a chica to get to know her.
3.Learn some Spanish or at least some phrases.
4.Be loose and try to joke around
5.If all fails, brings lots of money.

IMO, if you want as sure-thing as possible IN ONE VISIT, then the escorts are the only way to go. BUT, like MartinLuther says, you can culture a relationship with a bar chica easily enough... and get a steady GFE going. Then, as Lencho says, your ability to speak Spanish will come into play but even with limited ability, over time a GFE can be had with a bar chica. It just takes (generally) more time, more visits. The many TJ websites are filled with chica reports of chicas who give GF sessions. Tania the TJ escort, works in the AB bar. Candi is a good AB chica for a GFE as are many other chicas. You have to read or join the TJ websites and you will find many bar and even some SG GFE's. It's there but you have to do the legwork and research. Some sites are free and some are pay. You get what you pay for.

Escorts are just another way to go. I've had so many GFE sessions in nine years in TJ with many chicas way hotter and younger than many of the escorts preesently available and I am no stud and middle aged. I would expect the number of TJ escorts to increase over the upcoming years. The fact remains that some guys don't like to spend time in the zona or aren't comfortable there. Take a tour, find the zona touts like Franco that are around the zona or hook up with a website member who is willing to show you around for free. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I don't necessarily disagree with Juan but I still say, if a guy goes down one time for one session and wants a pretty certain one-hour GFE, the best bet is one of the escorts. Yes, you can find Tania at AB... in fact, you can probably email her from her website and arrange to meet her at AB instead of at the border for a taxi ride to her apartment. And yes, Candi at AB is a sweet GFE. I have been with her along with Tania at the apartment. (A couple of hours to remember!) And there are other GFE chicas out there. But unless you are just lucky in picking one, as Juan says, you have to do some work, networking, research and probably trial and error. And may I suggest that with the bar chcias, it is probably much more a case of YMMV. I doubt many of them that sometimes offer a GFE (because they *click* with a guy or they are in the mood or he offers lots of cash) would get the consistent GFE reviews found on TER for, say, Tania and Nicole and Raquel (who had her reviews removed but is still working).

For the sake of us who like the one-hour meetings in the comfort of a chica's apartment, I hope Juan is right when he suggests the escort population will indeed increase over time. I have probably visited about 30 GFE escorts in the US. They all provided BBBJ, DATY and DFK. However, the quality varies greatly. If you go for a multiple hour session, your chances are much better to receive a true GFE as you have time to get acquainted. I now spend about three days a week in TJ. Excellent strategy, Groove. I am not surprised it has worked for you every time. This would/should even work for a new guy if he has the patience and some play with the ladies.

As a veteran, you know patience is a real virtue in TJ. Unfortunately, some of us are guilty of letting the wrong head choose the chica. That can be especially disappointing if one's recovery time is lengthy. When you get older, it is (probably) less about the money and more about the wasted shot on a hot but unenthused chica. I have a lot of experience with all three categories of chicas in TJ as well as GFEs in the US. My advice is don't listen to ANYONE who tries to tell you about things they have never experienced.

If you want a GFE early in the morning, or on a specific day, don't even think about going to the bars to find it.

Walking into the bar just to find that your "GFE" is not working or just went upstairs with someone else is not my idea of a good time. Sure there is always someone else who will go upstairs with you, but that is not the idea of a GFE.

However, walking across the border, and getting into her car, and receiving a amorous kiss from her definitely is a great way to start a GFE.

I have to agree with you in one aspect apsuser.
If I did not have a 'stable' of ladies all set up from which to choose from for the GFE experience and was going to walk across the border tomorrow morning at 10am and want to have a GFE experience, I would choose the TJ escorts.
But since I have 2-3 bar girls and 3 or more SG's from which I can reliably choose to get said GFE the TJ escort is not an option FOR ME right now.
