had the opportunity last week to go to TJ.  Made a day of it and wanted to try a couple new things.  While my car was being cleaned at the carwash on 8th, decided to kill an hour at Mermaids.  First and LAST time there.  Although not a rip off, I paid house fee of $40 for the "hour massage".  After spending 10 minutes evenly distributing Suave lotion over my entire body, Francine?, said $100 for extras.  I said how about $80.  She agreed, and very routinely got protection and special lotion, played with me till ready, covered rode in several positions till I decided to let go.  She was NOT into it at all, not that I was expecting "love", but for $80, I was expecting the acting lessons to kick in!!

Left after spending a total of $120 for 30 minutes.  Again, not terrible, but later at Adelita's, I sure wish I had the $$ back!

Marcus... sorry to hear about your lousy experience at 8th Ave. I have visited them a time or two and received great extended service with a close-to-GFE cutie who spent well over an hour with me (Jacuzzi, massage, fun).

Marcus, I'm surprised at what happened to you.  Like dawctor, I've been to Mermaids several times.  My sessions have never gone less than an hour. I usually receive a near GFE and ocassionally a GFE experience.

I realize all experiences are YMMV and timing is always an issue.  I might try again inthe future. I can say the place was relatively clean and comfortable.
