Although I have made many trips to TJ in the past 2 years I still consider myself a relative newbie compared to those who have been doing this for years.
I have spent several holiday overnights in the zone, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor day but not New Years Eve.
I'm considering 'ringing in the New Year' in the zone this year,
has anyone done this?  Care to share your experience?

I'm scared to go Newyears becaouse every body shoots their gun
in the air there. fear of a falling bullet.

I've heard of guns being shot in the air here, but never had heard of it down in TJ.

Guns are actually illegal in Mexico, so they aren't as readily available to tne normal every day family celebrating their New Year's.  I would imagine that the risk of falling bullets is no more than it is here in the good ol' U.S. of A.
