As you know, 4PM on weekdays is terrible.  I have less experience at that time of on weekends, but what little I have is that the lines are still bad.  I've found that after 6:30 pm the lines are usually very short, even on weekends.  I often try crossing between 7-9 (weekdays and weekends) because of the short lines.  TJ has some good places to eat. If you are tired of the bars and don't want seconds (thirds, etc.) with the girls try having a good meal and crossing a little later. It's a lot better than waiting in line, and you've got to eat sometime.
