Men:  92%  show rate,  4 guys will lose their invite status, they are dropped from the list.

 Ladies,  hell you are the pits! 42% no shows.  Should I black list you?  LOL LOL

 Men, I want 100% next time,  and ladies, you think you could possibly get a passing grade next time, An F is not good,  can we try for at least a  B or a C??  Still love ya tho, I will let you make it up to me. S from South Atlanta, you are on the bubble :) AND there were two pool tables and a after party.  LOL LOL

Last one in Tampa, we had same problem.  Only a lot more than 8% of men were no-shows too. From what I remember, attendance was about 50% or less of those who said they were coming. Ladies' no-shows worse than men's.  I felt really bad for the hosts.

if all the ladies had shown, then the guys would have gone crazy! LOL  It was a 50/50 mix of ladies and gents,  great bunch, fun was had and it was very sucessfull as the restaurant asked if I would come back next week.  LOL Any larger bunch then it would have been ok but the size this time was great. 75

A certain percentage is expected. However 92% of hobbyists not showing up horrible.
I can't blame you for culling your list.

I have only attended one M&G and that is the one that Swim was talking about. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed meeting hobbyists as well as other providers but thought it was odd considering the number of no shows. I just thought that was the norm.
 Are the M&G's planned or are they just set randomly? Can anyone plan & have one?

To answer your questions, M&G's are planned when someone decides to have one.   However, there is no set timeframe for them to be given.  And yes, anyone can plan and have a meet and greet.  

I have not been to many, but it seemed to me there were a lot more no-shows at the party where we met than others I have attended.  I don't think the high number of no-shows was normal, but, unfortunately, sometimes life gets in the way of plans for fun.

If you are thinking of hosting one, contact the guys that hosted the one we met at to get an idea of the amount of work involved.  It's a lot more than you might think.

it was 8% no show,  92 % of the guys that said they would come DID,  the ladies it was the bad percentage but the numbers were good.  If all the ladies had shown, then the ration of men to ladies would been about 25% men and 75% ladies, the guys would have loved it.  But I do not want that, I want a 50 / 50 mix and that is what we had.  It was a great sucess and I had rented the whole restaurant and they shut it down for only us and put signs on the front telling it was a private party.  It was a sucess, sorry to give the wrong impression.

Hey my friends from DC,  how many N/S from a guy before you drop him from the invite list?  1 gets a warnin g 2 times they are dropped,  if come back with a good excuse and want to pay for the n/s and the current M&G, I will allow it, ten if they 3 n/s, dropped forever from the RSVP list.  Harsh?? NO!  We foot the bill for the venue, gaurentee the venue a certain $$ in drinks,  buy the food and we count on them to show if they say as we counted it into the amout of food and the gauantee.  Right?   Hey , keep me in the loop for your meets please.  JimmyPW

I rekindled an older relationship, got a new one "to come"(wow-Mallory- cannot wait to schedule next week), and met many wonderful JFL girls (too many to choose from) +++ CYNTHIA (love that plaid mini skirt)!. A perfect way to begin new "relationships".

Jimmy- I loved the closed location. No worry or wandering eyes from others that could happen at some M&G locations. I did not have a chance to thank you on my way out (what were you doing?) LOL, but thanks again for a wonderful time.

What do you think I was doing?  I was fighting off all the advances from the beautifull ladies and listening to LL Cool D tell me to not see certain ladies because I would get into trouble.  LOL  But she left and I misbehaved with a couple after the after party and had a after/after party at my house,  PRIVATE!!!   LOL LOL  Woo Hoo,

JPW, I hear the M&G was Awesome as usual. I hate I was out of town and couldn't attend. However, I'm glad I notified you in advance and always appreciate the invite. I hope to be able to make the next one. I was so jealous of you guys having all those lovely ladies to yourselves :). Ole Shaft will definitely put a place holder on the calendar for the next one.
