Would anyone object to my creating and managing a Meet & Greet Calendar?
It would NOT be an official TER M&G Calendar.
If the calendar were to include events from the *other* site, would people object to this? I would also ONLY list events if requested/permitted by the specific party organizers.
I'd indicate whatever necessary details you desire to be listed. This would be a NON-FEE associated calendar.
I simply see a desperate need for this on TER and even the *other* site. HeatherofTampa has expressed such a concept would GREATLY help ladies when planning their travels.

Posts for "the other site" are not allowed. We went through this earlier. Initially I thought that it was a good idea but subsequently learned that it gives too much exposure where little or none is wanted. The problem is that the undesirables will pester the M&G coordinators to death if they are not invited in some regions. Also, why make it easier for LE to monitor and photograph the party with all the information in one place? Not good.

Polecat is right in his assessment.
While the idea seems good in principle, it is important not to broadcast this information in general.
Organizers can ensure that ladies know when Ms&Gs are to occur through a bit of work and timely communication from a good mailing list.
With the exception of that one item (which can be addressed pretty easily), there really are no positive things about a National M&G Calendar.

I appreciate the feedback folks. I wish there was a more concise way of displaying the M&Gs, but I do understand how sometimes concepts can look much better on paper than in action.
