I was going to answer your question but I make it a rule to not give any information to aliases who haven't been screened or are not widely known. If you're going to ask a question about what can be a sensitive subject be up front about who you are. That is pretty much how it works here.

Why hide behind an alias when asking for info.

but it can be anywhere from 6 to 106

50 is manageable, more gets unwieldy

I would advise you to start small and have a few happy hour type of get togethers so you can build a core group of people who are willing to help out.

Then grow it.

I wasn't going to bring you up because I know that you are w-a-y UTR these days. But..... since you decided to jump in I am hereby encouraging anyone wanting more information to communicate with the GREATEST M&G Organizer of all time. He has outdone himself so now he won't have another one. Boo-hoo-hoo:-( LMAO Seriously, I'll let him tell you the reasons if he wants to, but he really did throw a phemonal party with not a single problem except for the weather. Snow and ice and fog. We did have the TER Head Shed honor us with a visit all the way from L.A. WOW, and they were the life of the party.

Take him up on his knowledge and if you let him know who the fuck you are and provide something so he can know you he may even give you his email address.

Have fun and BE SAFE!!!

I hosted a summer bash a few years ago for a different forum, and calculated about 50 people showing up. When you host a party and to be perfectly honest, anyone can host one. You just have to do your homework.
---Ideal place to have the party
---Interest of the majority( dance, chat, mingle, eat, drink, etc)
---reserving the date with the location.
---sending out the invitations.

Now when I had originally picked the location, we had previousely attended parties at local bars. That can get crowded, and monotonous.(boring)
So I checked on a place where we can not only chat, but dance, tease, entice, and preen.
The bamboo room was ideal. It had 3 bars, a huge dancefloor, dance poles (wink) served food, and had drink specials, and a patio to cool off and chat.
I ended up having at that party 130 people show.
The wonderful thing was there were so many faces I have chatted with for so long, I was able to put a faces to. Up to a few months ago, others had set up continuous parties at the same location because of the fun they had.
So go for it...set it up and have fun, but DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Good luck darlin!!
