The lovely and oh so sexy Amber Ashley and myself will be organizing this event so you know with Amber as co-host that this is sure to be a great party.

We were thinking either the 4th (Thursday night) or 5th depending on what people prefer so let us know your preferences as we want to nail down the date within the next 2 weeks so we can give the ladies enough time to make their travel schedules work.

to post the date, time and place for officer Krupky.  And you don't really expect for the community to give you their full name and hobby handle do you?  What would you do with full names?  Are you going to run back ground checks?  No other MnG asks for full name, just handle and a provider reference.

Weekends are very difficult for most providers and hobbyists; also more expensive at outside properties.

The exact location will not be given out until the day before and ONLY to those who have been properly screened. It MAY NOT be at Foxwoods but rather a place in that vicinity (there are a few very good places to pick from) so there is virtually no risk for LE to come knocking.

We are asking for the same type of info that is required by the hosts of the LA and Las Vegas for their events and since they have been very successful then they seem like a good model to follow. The safety and comfort of the ladies is our chief concern so no one will receive an invite without being properly screened and verified. We need to be sure the person who shows up at the party is the same one we invited/screened.

Btw: there is strong interest from the NE board so far and I have received a lot of requests from gents for invites so far and have had a great response from the ladies to so this is looking like it's going to be a great party!!

Maybe someone in Central CT - Hartford to Meriden? Somewhere on the Tpk? Foxwoods is practically in RI. I know CT isn't a big state but you're really limiting attendance for those of us who aren't free to just drive an hour and a half one way...

I agree completely.  Not only is Foxwoods pretty far out in the boonies but it is also more expensive than most places and has security everywhere.  A little run-of-the mill dive somewhere along the Twpk or East Hartford or Meriden would but much less expensive as well as much less security-oriented.

You still have not addressed how full names make this a more secure event. What are you going to do with the names that will make it more secure.

......I for one do not have PM priviledges here at TER and I know a few other interested folks who also cannot send or receive here.

What will you do with the full names that would make the party more secure? Simply having a name ensures nothing unless you are going to run a background check or call their employer or somehow verify they are the person that gave you the name is the hobbyist.  Can't someone just give you a made up name? Nonetheless, I, Tiger Woods, will be attending with my friends Michael Bloomberg and Arnold Scwartzenager.  Kim Jong Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad say that their schedule will dictate whether they will attend.

A Provider references is required and will be checked and ID's will be checked at the door to verify you are who you said you are.

If you can't provide this info then I'm sorry but you will not be given an invite.

Just as an FYI.  I host the LA Parties and a gents real name is never a requirement.  Although some do provide it.  I only require an ID that a lady knows or that I can verify review info.

You have been very respectful answering these questions. But I am still not getting how asking for full name helps secure the event. lets say i give you my real name and you check my real name. Great, oh, I'm also a reporter for the Times or I'm with the CSP.  What is that you say, you need a provider reference?  well if the provider reference is the heart of this security issue, then why ask for the real name. Giving a provider your real name is one of the worst things you can do. Giving you a list of the real names and handles of every hobbyist that plays in Connecticut is a tremendous risk. Are you prepared to tell all of us your real name. Quid Pro Quo.

I can work with the dates and the $100 seems fair . I have always felt American providers ask for way too much info which is why my lobbying has been in Canada or UK ( a few years ago). I still don't get the real name thing help me understand .

I've been in the camera rooms of several casinos, including the aforementioned Foxwoods, and let me tell you their HD cameras can read the serial number off a one dollar bill in an elevator.  They have higher-tech security than most prisons.  Every single license plate is photographed the second it enters the driveway.  With so many strip clubs, bars, restaurants, etc. in Connecticut where no one gives a damn what you do as long as you pay your tab; why fool around here??

I agree with everyone's concerns, i think you really have to seriously think and listen to everyones comments that they had left and a lot of ppl have left very good comments especially ppl who have done  
meet and greets before. Also you may want to ask for some advice on the boards about what is the best way to go about this, me I would prefer something along the lines of Central Connecticut and i live closer to the casinos it just seems casino's in one hand and meet and greet's in the other they just don't mix well in MHO.

If somebody's got several ref's from ladies who ARE GOING TO BE THERE,and they can verify them...that should be an alternate screening method.

... And for a couple of reasons. First off the security is very "aware" at any casino which should not affect us since this is just a cocktail party and I'm sure people do Bachelor Parties there but why tempt faith. We have also found that the cost of renting a large suite is very costly and may not fit in our budget.

Admittedly I am new to planning a M&G so I suspect I will make a mistake or three.

I understand the concern and will discuss this with Bond007 and TashaVegas since they have a lot of experience in this area and I will do whatever they have discovered that works

My motivation is to insure that the person who shows up is the person we have screened. Clearly any approach does not eliminate all risks and we all know there are a few inherent risks in this hobby to begin with. I just want to do the most we can so the ladies feel comfortable and safe and not trample over anyones privacy concerns but in the end it will come down to what the ladies want us to do for screening and if you are not comfortable with it then this M&G may not be for you.

I'll talk to the gurus and write an update post next week.

I posted concerns about full names and rather than dig in he considered the criticism and said he will look into it.  That's a good thoughtful job in my book.

it was posted as a foxwoods meet and greet.Which is a great place to gather,now the complaint is its to far.So is it a foxwoods M&G or a Conneticut M&G
