Hope to be attending my first meet & greet this summer.  What are some of the conversational etiquittes, nuances and no-nos I should be aware of?

at the Houston party when it got raided...He was lucky...he was clean..

But he told me there was VERY inappropriate conversations going on and those are people that got set up and popped..

Just never know...makes me know now to never discuss those things which we know are not proper to talk about.  If you are uncomfortable with the conversation, just walk away.

Treat it like a cocktail party amongst friends and just be on your guard.

Just trade phone numbers and/or email addresses and then proceed with the normal conventions of ettiquette that we discuss here.

At the recent Atlanta M & G, there was this one provider that was either bi-racial or a light skin ebony. Whichever, she had a beautiful complexion. She had on a sexy, tight dress that showed her to have an incredible ass. I told her that her ass was amazing. Was I wrong to do so ?
She didn't seem to mind.

a logical profession for your alter-ego.

For previous M&Gs I've knocked out 10-12 business cards . Independent Financial Advisor, Photographer , etc.

Likewise I've recieved cards from Massage Therapists, Amway reps., lingerie disributors, etc.

I think this helps since, at least for me, I'm bad at remembering names.

That would be Jordan from JFL.  Yes, she has a amazing posterior. That dress she had on was perfect for accenting her assets.  A VERY pretty young lady and one you would enjoy spending some time with.  I believe she is Bi and Bi.  LOL  Whatever, she is fantastic.

Unless you said it in a ungratefull way, it was OK, except I would not have said "ASS", but that is just me. I assume it was a compliment and I am sure she knew it, and dressed accordingly. :)

I'm not real sure I said ass.......but it absolutely was amazing. She has beautiful complexion and great ass, butt, caboose...whatever you want to call it.

And you're right, the dress was perfect.

is why I carry business cards with me but ONLY at the meet and greets.

I have never had one person down me for it yet always get compliments in doing so..

If they desire not to have it, then feel free to turn it down..no hard feelings either way..

The only card that ever went home with me was for an attorney.  The rest end up in the nearest trash can.

I should probably just say no thanks, but in spite of my board persona, I'm just a polite guy.

instead of wasting the girls money and/or time...as well as maybe the card will get into the wrong hands..

Just my opinion....

Business cards are a thing of the past.  And if they forgetfully get left in a guy's pants or jacket pocket, they can create a need for a different kind of business card -- one from a good attorney.

A lady's "business card," in my opinion, is her smile, her greeting and her wink as she walks past you at the M&G.  Once a name is obtained, the web is where the info can be found, not a 2X3 piece of cardstock with type on it.

Again, just my opinion.  And like my backside, every one has one . . . . . . :-)

I use business cards..So much more convenient then a number/website on a cocktail napkin..I would hope it would be torn up and tossed out after it has served its purpose..I have NEVER given one to someone who did not ASK for it.
