Anybody interested in throwing one? While I am NOT looking to host or play a major role I'll be glad to consult, though I've been out of the game for a while and no longer have a lot of contacts.

That being said, the last one was in November, 2018, and attendance was low, due in part to the freak Nov. snowstorm that evening that fouled up traffic throughout the region. Took over four hours to get into the City that night for the afterparty. As for future events, in years past, there was always a spring event. These were always major events, and we're overdue. I've heard rumblings, but don't get your hopes up.
The meet and greets have always been fun. But when we lost TER I feel like the m&gs stopped.
I am in NYC and would love to attend if someone was to throw one. I too am missing the good old days.

I am glad TER is back and I miss these parties too. I attended the last 2 events. The last one in Nov 2018, the heavens were against us with the worst snow storm imaginable. Less people turned up and there went our last event. I loved the after parties too and was fortunate enough to meet lovely ladies like you.
... if someone organizes, let me know where and when. Some of them were fantastic.
So, for those who’ve been, can you give the rest of us a GENERAL idea as to what “goes down” at a “M&G?”

... it's a cocktail party much like any other. What goes on before and after is consensual but there is little, and usually nothing very overt going on during the actual event (I can think of an exception or two). It's a good way to meet people engaged in all aspects of this activity and on more than one occasion I have had the good fortune to make lasting friends with benefits. Participants should be on their best behavior and all may be revealed and rewarded.

Definitely miss the M&G parties -- it was always a cool, fun evening with lots of like minded folks. Met some ATF's there for sure -- It's usually so much work for the organizers and - let's face it -- this is a flaky industry.
That said -- springtime would be refreshing.
I've been to roughly a half dozen NYC M&G's---ALWAYS a great time!! The hosts do a fantastic job maintaining the proper atmosphere-it's like a semi formal cocktail party (there is a dress code which IMHO really adds class to the event) with a sexy vibe. I pray to the universe that they return someday!
