Answers to past questions about attendance to M&G’s.
I sent out 290+- e-mails asking for replies (RSVP). Included with the request was a general date of the M&G, and a warning not to ask to come just so they could know details. Also warned about if they were a not show that they would be dropped from the list. 3 questions:
1) Yes, I want to come?
2) Cannot come but keep me on the e-mail list
3) Not sure
Here are the results, no I did not hear from many!
Men! 15 No
9 not sure, were not sent the location
32 yes
2 last minute cancellations – excused good reason and never done before.
2 no shows, one I know of a problem and excused, another excused, neither had no showed before.
The men had been warned that they would be dropped if they were a no-show and some had been dropped from the list before. I keep past records and warn the offenders, so it worked.
Ladies: 28 No
29 yes including agencies that were to bring multiple ladies , totaling 51 ladies.
10 not sure , were not sent the location
The bad - 1 agency did not show and many of the agency ladies did not show.
More BAD - 10 independent lady No-shows
In the past, at times I have lost my A** on some M&G's with no shows. All in all, it was a great M&G, guys have learned and respect if they say they are coming, and then no show, I had counted on them with the amount of food, and the required number of drinks guaranteed. Ladies must not care as much or do not care if they are dropped fro the invite list. I had in the past NOT sent warnings to the ladies about being no shows, but had automatically dropped some from the list. I hate doing that and the guys want the ladies there.
I have a much better ration of no-shows because I have been doing this a long time and the guys know they will never have a chance to attend another M&G that I host. It was the best no show ratio ever and I hope it continues. Ladies, what can I say, you are invited and do not pay, the guys pay and buy you drinks so you can meet guys and make money. Hmmm, what’s wrong with this picture. LOL LOL It is what it is, and as little Suzy told her little boy playmate, “no, I do not have one of those, (pulling up her dress) but with one of these, I can have all of those I want” LOL LOL

It has been said already, but, you put on a great party. The M&G was my first, and not my last. Thank you for adding me, to the list, at the last minute. Oh yeah, the contacts I made will keep me in company on my Atlanta visits for a long time. Those that declined, and were no-shows, really missed out.

Those no shows really did miss out and thank goodness you won't be wasting email energy inviting them again, lol...
