Why would anyone who is trying to protect their private life go to a casino filled with video cameras for a meet and greet.
Sounds like an odd place for one of these events. Maybe that's why you've gotten a low head count.

Everyone agreed a long time ago that it wouldn't be AT a casino, only in the area. I don't know how the AT the casino started.
They've said they were going to have it near the casinos and not on the property... hopefully that is still the case. The new facial-recognition technology in place at both the casinos would surely match more than one provider with her website. The Tribal Police take a really dim view of this type of activity.

As long as nothing occurs at the party other than meeting and greeting, the Tribal Police (or anyone else) have nothing they can do.
It's not illegal to go to a party and hang out with people, drink, and talk.
I would agree with you 100% and in fact I have said that same thing myself many times. Unfortunately, that rule doesn't necessarily apply right now on Indian land. They have recently installed state of the art facial recognition technology that photographs and matches everyone that enters the property. They aren't looking for "our type" of crowd but are attempting to comply with Homeland Security's request due to the suspicion of money laundering and the financing of terrorist organizations. Passing white envelopes around with money in them and having a face or two pop up connected with a website is a red flag. You may have noticed that even in Las Vegas, the MnGs are not held on casino property.
I can think of several events that have been held at casinos in the years I've been involved with Vegas M&Gs. Also, seriously, don't you think providers don't tromp through Vegas casinos as part of their daily work anyway?
Who the fuck is handing around envelopes with money in them at a M&G other than a complete dumbass, anyway?
Once again: it isn't illegal for people to have a party. You can be busted for doing something illegal AT the party, but merely being in the room with several providers and hobbyists isn't illegal.

If the police WERE to come in and arrest people because they were hanging out with a bunch of prostitutes, absent any overt illegal activity, it would be a violation of everyone's First Amendment rights to peaceably assemble (generally referred to as freedom of association).
...and in fact the Casino proved to be a great choice! The hotel gave us two adjoining suites that were beautiful with a very nice location with our own elevator for discreet entrances/exits. They never came by at all and we were partying til after 2 am.
I even made many trips to the suite from my car hauling up all the alcohol and food and again no one bothered me.
I'll have one there again in a heartbeat.
