So my Mother of all people recommended this book to me and told me that it was awesome, however I had no Idea that the whole book is S&M Porn....
Needless to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and it knocked my socks off....

The book would have been better in my opinion if the girl was a little more experienced. A "young college graduate that is a VIRGIN" was very Far Fetched as well. I would rather read a book where a young college graduate is the dom to a submissive billionaire to be honest. Aside from the BDSM in the book it was rather VANILLA in every other aspect. But all in all a good read. And if it turns on a desperate housewife to the point that she ACTUALLY WANTS to have sex with her man Im all for it!

50 shades is the direct work of twilight fan fiction originally titled Master of the Universe. I personally won't read work I feel is plagiarized. I can't recommend this book not only because of that but because the writing is atrocious and the author, who is British, wrote a book set in Seattle, WA with characters who are in their 20's. They speak with a british accent, and they talk as though they're 40.
The most ludicrous thing in the novel is 21 year old virgin anastasia steele not only not having an email address but owning an iPod without an email address. James "research" on this book is laughable and I bet if you asked anyone involved in the bdsm community they'd tell you it's horse shit.
There are some truly wonderful pieces of fiction out there to read but this is plagiarized dog poo in my opinion.
