Do you find it encourages you or distracts you if the client provides verbal cues to you during the massage, either verbal or perhaps just groans of delight?

Recently a gal I've known for ages told me not to make any sounds during our session as she finds it distracting.

When ever I massage a gal, I love getting verbal feedback.

What say all of you?

If it's a massage by a massage therapist, I avoid the groans of delight.  But I may sigh from deep breathing, and if she hits a tender spot I might let out a little groan (not of delight).

For a massage by a provider... that's a different story.  Groans, moans, "oh baby that feels so good!" etc. are all possible, even likely.

There are a number of gals who pride themselves on their massage skills.   While some only do HJs, other do offer other things up to FS.

With a non-sexual LMT, I do tend to clam up lest she think I'm hinting at hitting on her to do more, but I doubt there are too many such LMTs perusing these boards.

I ask questions periodically during bodywork sessions to make sure I'm addressing problem areas, not causing any pain and working out all the kinks.  Checking in with the client about whether I'm providing too much/enough pressure is also important.   Also, I love to know that a person is enjoying my touch.  So I definitely need & welcome feedback.
