Since you also have a reading comprehension problem, perhaps a lemming may have told you that I commented on your shouting in all CAPS and not the message itself. It looks retarded when people post in all caps. Just reread my post a few more times. It's not that complicated

I'm guessing my post from 9/27 counts among the 'last minute' posts that you've decried in your post.

Speaking for myself I have a very full schedule of professional and personal commitments so when some time unexpectedly opens up on relatively short notice I'd like to make a connection off this board with a reputable provider. I'm courteous enough to establish the nature of my request in the subject line to ensure that people not interested in the content of the message have no reason to click through and waste their valuable time.

All that said I'm not sure what I've done to deserve the animosity or anger in your post. What important public service announcements on the MD board did my request push down that you are so concerned about? Can't be an ad since there's a separate board for that purpose.

If you are not interested - then ignore.  It's really not that difficult.
Some ladies like the opportunity to find some last minute work.
And also, posting on a national ISO board is just not going to be as effective as posting to a local board.

and one that I'm not equipped to answer because I'm not on your end.
It certainly would seem "hit and miss" so I could see why you wouldn't want to waste your time if you've had bad luck when responding to these in the past.  Ultimately, it comes down to the quality of the guy making the request.  And, out of respect, the guy should always put in some basic criteria, unless he is TRULY open to seeing any type of lady (so someone who isn't his type at all doesn't waste her time).   I've actually never made this type of post myself, mostly for that reason - though I have been tempted once or twice after a last minute cancellation.

But despite your frustrations with some guys that were time-wasters, I'd still have to guess that some of these do work out in the end for a lady and guy - which does put money in a lady's pocket that wouldn't have been there otherwise.  But I also suppose that it's somewhat inevitable that with ISO scenarios that a guy could slow play one lady to see if someone he would prefer more would come along.  And I have no doubt that that would be very frustrating to deal with.

And yes, you were very polite and calm, and articulated your concerns very well.
