So I'm in Philly right now, it's kinda slow, I'm wondering if BWI would be safe if I hop on the train tomorrow.. I'm sure I've been missed

There was an article posted on 10/15/2013.
Here are some excerpts from the article: "Three Maryland men are facing prostitution charges in the wake of a police internet sting in the Linthicum Hotel District." "The investigation is ongoing as detectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s special enforcement section continue to track down those behind phone calls and text messages received from 51 different phone numbers during the sting operation, police said.""The charges were leveled against the three men after they allegedly reached out to undercover detectives posing as escorts on a website often used for prostitution, according to the Anne Arundel police department.
In MD making a phone call/txt may get you investigated.
Plus there is no stature of limitation like DC or VA. I dunno why MD takes it too almost extreme levels...and extreme would be Denver, Colorado working with FBI and making fake p411 accounts with okays. Unless ya getting a girl from a strip club in B-more...it's best to do very little hobbying in MD unless it is a solid Indy.Maryland has always been bad with the crackdowns. Things are more transparent today with press releases, google searches, and back channel connections. There was an article (this past week) about the guys who got busted in Southern, MD (back in August 2013) about how their lives are messed up.
Does reaching out to a prostitute, constitute solicitation?
I understand your life can be fucked up simply by being charged. I doubt I will ever get the answer here, I would like to know how the prosecutor, can make the charges stick? Will simply contacting an known escort, result in a guilty verdict? Do undercover detectives, posing as prostitutes, legally fit the description of a known escort?
I remember a lady on the DC board had some good info regarding MD law.
If you send a text to a provider asking, say if she is available tomorrow, I can't possibly see how you can be arrested just for that. But I'm also not a lawyer.
Link to post for Vern about assignation in Maryland....
http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=257918&boardID=6&page=6#257918Maryland law defines “assignation” as setting up an appointment or meeting for prostitution, or doing any act that assists such assignation. (Md. Code Ann. [Crim. Law], § 11-301(b).)
I know I sound like a hard head, Would the phone call(even unanswered) itself constitute assignation? I don't want to say what I think.
Honey, you know how this business works. If somebody wants to know what you do, ex. are you GFE, BBBJ, etc... you know as well as me that it could be LE. AA Co, Baltimore City and County all have active vice units. From all of the ladies I talk to, it's been slow for a while now. I'm sure Philly's no different than Baltimore, but BWI is no hotter than anywhere else in the area. Pay no attention to what some people say!

Stupid is as stupid does! Ask your provider inappropriate questions about services rendered and she tells you what you want to hear and you will end up in handcuffs too. BWI is no different than the city or other surrounding counties. Use this review site and others to get the information you need.

Yup, might as well give up the hobby. Again if you act like an idiot and push the envelope of what can be said and what cannot, you may just end up in a sting. Assignation is a very gray area, but if you see a girl with no reviews that's advertising very low prices, even without discussing what services she provides, you could get charged. Getting arrested is one thing, being convicted is another. If you find yourself in that situation, the best thing you can do is shut the fuck up! Let the cops do their thing and when you're released get a lawyer. Talking is like a shovel. The more you talk the deeper the hole that you're digging for yourself gets.
hey baby, are you still coming to bemore? if not
