For a damn good breakfast I recommend "miss Shirley's" off Pratt st downtown baltimore
And For some damn good crab I recommend "canton dockside" in canton (close to downtown)
There's a great Bbq & cool bar environment too the place is called "midtown Bbq" downtown off centre st

Dockside doesn't look like a bad place, not sure if it's a chain restaurant or not. I'm fairly certain Fogo de Chao is a chain restaurant, not that it's a bad thing. Morton's and Sullivan's are a good choice.

.....Germano's (germanospiattini.com) or Sabatino's(sabitinos.com)  are two suggestions off the top of my head,granted it's been awhile since I've been to either,and I'm sure some of our well informed brethren will chime in(All Good & welcomed). ;-}
I've had real good meals at both.

....If you are going to be around BWI,  G&M Restaurant[ (410) 636-2605) ], is close and has good food in a casual atmosphere,some of the best crab cakes around! The Olive Grove[(410) 636-1385] is right up the street from G&M, It is NOT Olive Garden(national chain),though they also have a location in Bowie,md. They specialize in Italian fare,but also have good seafood and continental fare.

...Hope this helps!
Best wishes and safe journeys.......! :)

so is G&M, I haven't been to Jimmy's since I was a kid, one other place I use to really enjoy was Fisherman's Wharf, on Millers Island although they shutdown years ago.

I have recently dined at the Kona Grill, Bubba Gumps and the Hard Rock Café.  The mahi mahi is my favorite fish and the Kona Grill does it up right.  I can't walk past Bubba Gumps and not go in for some Cajun shrimp.  The Hard Rock Café has an unusual crowd.  When I went during the day, there were families with young ones sitting at a table right next to a bunch of guys with face tats.  It was really wild to see the variety of folks there, and their burgers are mighty good too.

That's some of the places that I have been to recently, and I thoroughly enjoyed them all.

Checkout Sugar in Hampden. It's at the corner of Roland Ave. and Thrity-sixth St.

You know that isn't a restaurant, however there are plenty of places to eat along the 36th street corridor. Plus lesbians frequent that shop, and I don't mean the lipstick kind.

But it is a very well managed sex shop and the are very helpful. I went there this weekend and there were all kinds of couples and individuals. Think of it as Babeland without the over four hour trip to Manhattan.

I chose not to knowingly support gay or lesbian owned businesses.

You are also due for a geography lesson, Hampden is (slightly) NW of downtown Baltimore. Although I wouldn't call it NW Baltimore example: Cross Country, you might want to invest in a map and compass. I actually learned something from the below map, I never knew there was a Hoes Heights neighborhood

Some good choices a couple of my favorites, but go to Thames Street Oyster in Fells point you wont regret it. Then again it depends on what you are in the mood for.

Sorry I'm seeing it late.  Head over East towards Canton on Fleet Street , a great restaurant called Sauté.   2 blocks from Canton Square and more great places.
