Argh! The cul-de-sac down my street turned permits only!

How do you deal with parking restrictions? I'm getting a guest permit for my clients but I want to hear if parking is a huge deal breaker for you guys.

There's still unrestricted street parking on my main street. ;) This is why I'm westside. :P

...but while I don't mind paying $$$$ for sex, I won't pay $10-$20 for parking.  That's why I never go to Downtown L.A.

Restricted parking doesn't bother me because I have a hobbyist's parking pass which lets me park in any parking permit area anywhere.

Here's a good parking tip:  You can legally park at any yellow or green curb after 6pm daily and all day Sunday (unless there are other signs restricting parking).

where I won't get photographed.

Good tip.  I knew about the green but not the yellow.

I would not wish a visit to this godforsaken place to anyone...everyone is so miserable there. Those poor people trying to pay off tickets to get abstracts or obtain permits. The mental obstacle course one suffers to do anything there is beyond inhumane.

They won't sell me a guest permit because I'm too far from the cul-de-sac yet within the zone. I am NOT putting my annual pass on my client's bumper. Hmph!

At least there's plenty of free unrestricted parking directly on my street :

I hate parking restrictions or paid parking and try to avoid at all cost. I don't mind parking a block or two away and walk.

On top of that, I hate to drive in traffic (it can completely ruin my mood) so incall location is my 1st concern. I haven't had any problem finding parking. I prefer paid parking lots because I feel it might be safer. They are usually available around areas that's difficult to find street parking. I don't need any kind of trouble when I am out hobbying. I wish provider would warn me on street cleaning days. They are quite easy to overlook and a ticket is a real hassle for me.

Yes.  It can be a deal breaker for me when visiting a provider.  Whoever is hosting, be a client or provider, the host should do their best to hold, or reserve a parking spot to their guest if possible.  No one likes to be driving forever to find parking.  Everyone who has visited me has always had parking, and no issues whatsoever.
