Any good steak houses I should try?

Taylor's in dtla/koreantown area is excellent.

Mastro's has the most AMAZING food and service of any restaurant in LA, let alone steakhouse.  
They have locations in BH, OC, TO and soon to open in Malibu.  Also, most generous martinis ever!!!

I had a delicious rib eye there recently and their peanut coleslaw was the best!

Wolfgang Puck has a steak place in Beverly Hills called Cut.  Execellent but spendy!!

My favorite steak house in LA on Canon drive in BH.  It's great people watching too.

Most restaurants mention are all good but you have those in Vegas. Try this landmark, it has a cool history and it's in Hollywood, be it good or bad but do check it out.

I got to the one in Rancho Mirage often!!

Also has the best Cobb Salad I have ever had

there is a place called The Stinking Rose (no…that's really the name, they use a lot of garlic) and their steak is amazeballs.

Yeah - it's a chain.  But it's also an LA landmark.  The only restaraunt on restaraunt row (La Cienega up from Wilshire) to survive from the SIXTIES - the sixties for chrissake.  Gone are Alan Hale's (the "skipper" too) fish house, Lucille Ball used to eat there (I saw her one time in there with Gary Morton when I was a young'un).  Ditto for the likes of Jack Benny, Robert Young, and the Reagans.

And yes - the creamed spinach and tableside carving (plus the Yorkshire Pudding) reminds us all of our roots.

In Agoura.  It's got character.  Steaks are good but the place has a mystique to it.
