When should one retire from here? I'm not talking about retirement or social security.

One possibility is marriage. On the other hand, that is not a factor for some.

Discuss.

Why retire from this wonderful profession as long as you enjoy it??.  There are clients for all shapes, sizes, and ages.  Tris

You need to know yourself well enough to identify when the time and effort spent is no longer worth the reward.

For ladies, many will shift their focus once they have enough regular clientele that review boards become irrelevant. I imagine the same is true for gentlemen.

The hobby, for me, is an escape. I tell myself if not this escape, it'd be another. And, for me, it can become very consuming. So much so that if I could easily let it occupy all 168 hours of every week. Not out buying sessions all day and all night, just thinking about it, planning, researching and such.

So every now and then I wake up in the morning and think that there must be some real-life matters that I really should be tending to rather than escaping from. So...when that feeling/realization gets too thick, I reckon it must be time to stop it for awhile. And someday it could become very important that I stop it for good and get back to living my life.
