This is my first post and my first experience using an escort service in LA. I've been doing all my homework and following the advice in the Newbie FAQs and r/EscortClientsOnly: Using TER, looking for girls with +10/recent reviews, making sure the reviewers have many escort reviews on their account, Donations over $300/not suspiciously cheap, girls over 25, ... I was THIS close to booking my first incall meeting but backed out at the last second. This may sound silly to the more experienced but I became deeply terrified of LE. I started looking at possible charges and it started scarring me. I started to imagine LE barging in mid-meeting, being caught in a sting operation or it coming back to haunt me months after. I am generally an anxious person who tends to err on the side of caution and overthinks most things. I'd love any advice + safety protocols y'all have to offer !Most of what you are doing is good. $300 is a low bar unless you are going to the Kgirl scene. I would be more worried about that scene then an independent. LE has more skin in the game to take down a large operation. If you can move your spending bar higher, you will find a good number of independent providers who come with little risk. $500 will get you some okay ladies, but not necessarily the best. $600 is where you really start seeing some nicer ladies. If you want to shake some of the nerves, you can try messaging guys who reviewed them with some questions to help ease your concerns. Also, LE is more interested in busting the escorts than the clients. You are not their target.

But I think you're on the right track. See, if you can a K-Girl. Those places are rarely if ever busted.
It's, in my opinion a good starting point. But word of advise, don't fall in love because they won't be there long.
Personally, not a huge fan of the kgirl scene. Though getting busted is not likely, I would think if it was going to happen, it would be a scene like this one where they have multiple apartments and kgirls all in the same building. This would be a good get for the po po, where as a true independent provider would hardly be worth the po pos time. Taking down a ring is newsworthy. Taking down a lone wolf is close to worthless. Hence, my original comment on the kgirl scene vs. an independent.
Kgirl purists may disagree, mainly because they like their price and believe they are as good as any other options out there. But, you're also talking about an industry that rarely posts acurate pictures, is high volume, often insists on a driver's license for noobs, and their grasp of the English language is questionable. All of these are turn offs for me. And yes, while the pictures may not be accurate, some of them are actually cute and you may be able to sort this out through reviews. Nothing you can do about the volume. They charge less because they book more appointments per day, so you are getting together with someone who is taking more dudes inside her every day she works. If your nervous, I'm not sure how you feel about handing over a picture of your driver's license.

As a single super Mama I get nervous as well. LE not so much because I am an industry OG & I honestly feel as if LE does not target 🎯 older women who require deposits to book. Then definitely stay away from Asian Massage Parlors. A lot of bust go on there and they can be “iffy”

You're doing your research getting to know the ins and outs from sites like TER. You're next step is to book the appointment and stick to it. And, you'll probably need to increase your budget by at least $100. Some K-girls are 300 or a little less, but a lot are over 300.
I recall my first several times where I was always anxious and didn't have sites like this (or the internet) as a resource. Even after I found TER I was still nervous from time to time when going to an appointment since I wasn't hobbying on a regular basis. Using TER, you are not flying as blind. You know who the well reviewed providers are that you're interested in, etc.
As others have said, LE is not going to go after an independent just for prostitution. Unless the indie is causing problems in her building or into other stuff, a sting/bust won't come into play. From what I read in news articles or even from watching shows like Cops, the stings always happen in motel rooms. The guys who showed up responded to an online ad or drove up to a cop posing as a street walker and was told to meet at a nearby motel after agreeing to pay $. Those guys didn't do any research on TER or other sites.
Still be careful and alert when going the appointment but don't look nervous/suspicious. Walk up like you're going to a friend's place that you've been to a hundred times. I would not park right in front of the incall.
Once you have your first appointment, the next one will be a little bit easier. You'll continue to learn and eventually know the ropes.

If you aren't already, I suggest checking to see if the providers you're interested in have active social media like ig and twitter/x. If they are and are also sharing or retweeting other active, reviewed providers that's a good sign. And you can get a better idea of their personality there. You might also find private in call more appealing than hotels if the fear of stings is heavy on your mind. A little bit of nervousness is normal and can even make it quite fun, but you don't want it to be so bad that it interferes with the main goal and you can't enjoy yourself.

I'm going to recommend something that is completely different from everyone else has said so far, and it's more about helping you to quiet he voice in your head that starts chattering like a wild monkey about everything that can go wrong in these situations, and keeps you from trying something new because of nerves.
Mel Robbins is an incredible motivational speaker, and has a book called the Five Second Rule, but instead of taking the time to read it (although I highly recommend it), you can watch her Ted Talk. I think it will really help you to push past the moment of fear that's holding you back. Also, being terrified of LE is not silly, so show yourself some grace.That being said, when you've done your homework the threat of encountering LE diminishes greatly.
Lastly, Id like to echo what someone else on here said about checking to see if providers you're interested in have any kind of social media that you can follow to get a better feel for their personality and be sure they're someone with a reputation. I have a Twitter account myself (I refuse to call it "X" 😤), and I've had some great dates with gents that followed me on there, and who were also very nervous to book. Seeing that I'm a reputable provider, but also a real person with varied interests outside of this world helped them to pull the trigger on booking with me.
