Isn't this a little invasive?  With all due respect, do I really want that info floating around?

I gave out the aforementioned info to a lady whom I saw. (she has retired and moved away.)  

It was given back when I stayed under the radar and actually had a paying vip membership. To assuage her fears I sent her my name, work number, shoe size, jacket size, pant size, my allergies (none), work address, car I drove, my favorite color, my dog's name, name of my first school, first teacher's name, ....

(I did give her my work info, name, and occupation.)

But rule of thumb, if you do not feel safe in giving her your info, ask her if there's an alternative to that form of verification.

you have several reviews and I'm assuming a couple of those providers can act as references. Most providers have multiple options for verification. Will she accept two recent references instead of the personal info? Or is she requesting occupation, company name, and number regardless of references?  

If you don't feel comfortable about the situation then I would walk away.

Some men will get  good references to gain trust, only so they can abuse a woman, or rob her.  

Knowing a gentleman's real info is not 100% effective in weeding out the jack asses, but a man is less likely to act inappropriate or violent if his real identity is known

I think it is unnecessary. If she is really paranoid she can pick 5 and send 5 emails...

I think a provider should do any and all types of verification she wants to feel comfortable and safe. Some clients will never see a provider if any personal info is required, but I'm sure most of these providers regard this loss in clientele as the cost of safety. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, there is no absolutely guaranteed way to screen out violent and abusive clients. It's too bad that a few asshats and frauds make it difficult for the majority of clients that are just looking for a good time.

100% agree - It's not needed and stupid to transmit your personal information - why take such a risk? DO NOT DO IT! What are you gaining???

I understand all of your concerns gentleman.  However,  consider a beautiful encounter with a lady who would love to have a great time and please you.

Then consider if... she has a proven reputation.  That's what TER is for.  

I'm 5'2 110lb soaking wet. I and all ladies appreciate their safety. Weirdos and or LE are out there.  Vet the young lady you'd like to see and that should make you a bit more comfortable.  
However do not fault us for wanting to be safe.) ps it's super easy to join a third party service to vet you. Trust me most of us are too busy enjoying life to worry about doing something with your info.

I no longer provide this information, since I can now schedule appointments without sendig this info.  But when I first started, I did provide the info to someone who I researched very thoroughly.  She had a well known persona on here, and my judgement was that she could be trusted.   That was three years ago, and I still see her.   She has provided intros and references over that time frame, and her guidance has made the hobby much safer and more rewarding than it would have been if I had never seen her.    

So there can be exceptions to all rules.

If you have no info to research, no p411, no countless whitelists, we are just as able to end up in handcuffs. I have had people tell me tons of stories, refuse their info, etc. and soon enough their name and info pops up on blacklist for dangerous reasons, strangling providers, etc. in this state or other reasons.. Safety is a priority in this hobby. I prefer to wait, then rush and take my chances. Never a problem providing extra security from clients because safety makes the appointment better..

Some gents take risks, some ladies take risks.
Some gents play it safe and refuse all request for real information that can be readily collaborated, some ladies also refuse to give that info. (they would often end up on the DNS (do not see list) with their number / e-mail being shared amongst ladies and gents.  
Some gents do not care, some ladies do not care.
In this game of cat and mouse, you have to make a choice.

Tolerance for risk is different - exactly... I have a pretty high tolerance (I kinda get off on it TBH).

on my first attempt to get an appointment when I started the hobby.  After that, I usually just contact touring girls directly in various cities who will vouch for me with their current booker.  Then I'm good with that booker to see other girls that he/she books for.
