Folks,

I am visiting LA in a couple of weeks.  In addition to planning to meet some of LA's finest ladies, I am in pursuit of copes of old Hustler and other skin mags from the 70s and 80s. In particular, I'm looking for Mayfair from the UK when I lived there and some Hustlers because of a personal connection with a centerfold model back then.  I'd like to be able to get the entire issue just as if I still had the originals.

I would be grateful for any advice about a shop that sells back issues.  I remember small shops in Hollywood 20 years ago that sold old book & magazines as well as television and movie pictures and lobby posters.  You could look through 3-ring binders of contact prints, order 8x10s, and pick them up in a week or so.  I bought tons of stills from the Three Stooges, Get Smart, Mr. Ed, and other TV shows.  I also bought back issues of about every magazine on the planet!

Oh, yeah -- I do want to save time foe a session or two!

There used to be shops in Hollywood that dealt in this kind of stuff, but I doubt if they're there anymore.  If you're looking for something specific, why not just go to eBay?

But in the City of Fullerton, thirty miles away in Orange County there is a long standing "back issue" magazine store on Chapman Avenue in the central campus area Of Fullerton College. Try a Google search!
