...I've got a matronly cleaning lady who comes in twice a week, and she is not my idea of what would be a fun romp at playtime. So, when I think maid, I think of winding up with someone like that. Whereas if the personal chef was a dog, at least I could have her broil me steak or a nice halibut filet.
